When on the road I love going to Farmers Markets...always looking for delicious treats and different things.
This market did not disappoint...lots of food items as well as gift/craft items.
It was downtown, plenty of free parking on a Saturday morning.
Was able to get some Wild Rice.

A small mall with few decent shop and a tiny food court. Dollarama was a disappointment though. It was a family visit for getting my SIM cards

A small gallery that focuses on displaying short displays of selected artists. We happened to visit when artist (Heather Cline) was featured. An artist with an interesting take on the visual panorama of Saskatchewan fields that I found enticing while my partner was not. We were, however, taken by the bronze sculptures by (Josef ???). IF we 'win the lottery'. this would be another place we would visit to see what is available. The art is pricey but I believe it is worthy of it. An interesting, well laid out gallery with a pleasant hostess. The only negative was the debilitating effect of an aroma that seriously affected the COPD breathing of my partner, forcing us to exit more rapidly than we had intended... Still, a worthy, interesting, easily accessible outing...

We were looking for (UNPAINTED) antique end tables or something we could use as such. We found two pieces that worked for us.

The use of skylights makes it sunny and bright. The food court has ample seating with enough food choices (Chinese, Japanese, A & W, Trifons, Subway, Orange Julius). There is also a Dairy Queen in the mall. Large stores include Safeway, Lowes and Fabricland. There is a good selection of clothing stores, a shoe store and jewellery stores. If you are shopping for gifts, there are a variety of gift shops, kiosks and the Rider Store. There are also some vacancies. Many services are available including beauty salons and medical centres (dental, vision, doctors). There is seating in different areas and some rides for children. The informative website is kept up to date.
For a few days part of the parking lot is transformed into a circus (July) and an Amusement Fair with a midway (June).

This little gallery had a great exhibit about artists using natural evolving materials. The docent was very informative.

There was one exhibition filling the gallery’s one room, a number of almost surrealistic paintings by David Dreher. Photographs and small paintings by two members were hung along an outside wall. Less than half an hour and we were done.

The malls cornerstone store is a giant Canadian tire. Other decent stores are Atmosphere, Marks and Sport Chek. Good food court and a nice variety of independent shops plus a branch of the Regina Public Library. Close to a lot of restaurants and easy access off Albert Street, Ribg Road and highways #1 and 6
