A great variety of artist types and keep sake goodies. Set for all budgets, anyone can go in here and find a special thing to put in their home. Online shopping is fantastic. The packages arrive carefully wrapped and protected and shipping was extremely quick. There were no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend based on my experience dealing with this place.Written November 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is always an interesting mix of local artist creations and I don’t always purchase something but always enjoy taking in the creative energy.

Picnic tables and a new playground. Vegetable stands, baked goods, food trucks and craft vendors. Two vendors selling sourdough bread. Found one vendor selling stroopwafels (a Dutch favourite treat). From another food vendor I tried a Haskap ice tea, delicious. The market is on until 3rd week of September. Worth a visit.Written August 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- wloo_andrewWaterloo, Canada875 contributionsI really enjoyed the exhibits in the art gallery that were there in Sept 2022. Beautiful photography, insightful texts, and gorgeous bead work that provided insights into Indigenous culture in the north.Written September 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Departure229373581191 contributionBeautifully tasteful selection of unique gifts. I bought an incredible print by a local artist here that I absolutely love! The soaps are lovely little works of art themselves. Funny cards, jewellery & pottery, all in a sweet little shop. A must see in Whitehorse!Written March 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Greta P1 contributionThe store is fantastic, the collection is superb and the couple owning their home and running the business are welcoming and love to chat about rocks! I could have stayed for hours; Paul is a delight and gave me insights about rock collecting while his wife walked my dog for me.Written September 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sherry MRichmond, Canada30 contributionsThis store has a little bit of everything and is a lot of fun to browse. They have fun, stylish souvenirs - something nearly impossible to find in the Yukon generally- and kids books, nifty kitchen supplies, clothing- it’s hard to leave empty handed!Written May 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PookyCakeVictoria, Canada14,895 contributionsLocated along bustling Main Street, the Midnight Sun Emporium is a family-owned gift shop that’s been around for as long as I can remember (15+ years). It is quite literally packed to the rafters with a plethora of goods, including locally-made crafts, jewelry, Fireweed honey, bannock mix, homemade fudge, t-shirts, and other delightful sundries. In short, there’s something here for everybody’s budget and taste.
We ducked in here after patronizing Mac’s Fireweed Books and Murdoch’s Gem Shop. We weren’t looking for anything in particular – just “shooting the breeze,” as they say; however, we did pick up a couple of small items: Some locally-made jewelry and an enticing sour apple soda pop (I was almost tempted to grab some bannock mix, but got cheap). The pricing was fair and the service was Yukon friendly! If you’re visiting town, be sure to stop by this adorable shop. I guarantee you won’t leave empty-handed!Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Be sure to check out the clearance section. We found a really nice Yukon hoodie ($56.95 marked down to $28.48) and a Yukon thermal top. Prices are in line with what you will pay in the area.Written February 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 52Yukon12345Ontario, Canada23 contributionsIt’s is a gift shop. However it has a lot of history. There are pictures and stories of the history of the gold rush. There is a beautiful woman’s belt from way back that should be seen.Written October 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Weyes1Bloomington, IN418 contributionsThis is a wonderfully well-stocked quilt shop. It can easily compare to any large US quilt store. The owner is an absolute delight to talk to. She welcomed me quickly and introduced me to her row by row kits and showed me numerous panels she had for sale. There are lovely wildlife quilt kits and many, many yardage options that I have not seen in our local stores. Despite my best intentions to not buy more fabric, I walked away with a quilt kit and a row by row kit. They were too irresistible! Highly, highly recommend this store both for its selection and for its friendly and helpful owner and staff.Written September 18, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
