Four long-time friends, all of us senior citizens, booked this trip through TripAdvisor, and it was simply an amazing way to spend the day. The instructions we were given prior to the trip on how to find the transfer coach (our ship arrived at a different quay to where the main coach was departing from, so we had a midi coach transfer) were very good, and we had no trouble locating the driver after disembarking our ship. We were driven around to the main coach for the day’s adventure where we met Epaul, who was our driver and guide for the day. We couldn’t have wished for a better person to have spent the day with touring the sights, as he was both funny and informative, which made the day so much more special. The itinerary listed on the booking page was followed to the letter, so we saw some amazing sights and had a full day of wonderment, getting some amazing photos and making brilliant memories along the way, The included barbeque was really good and there was more than enough food to fill us up for the remainder of the trip. We also did the dog sled ride at the lunch stop, and I would thoroughly recommend this – it costs extra to do this, payable at the gift shop, but totally worth it. The day was superb and we would all thoroughly recommend this trip – truly good value for money.

While we unfortunately didn't see the Aurora, the Arctic Day people did everything they could to give us a good experience: very friendly guides and hosts, warm rooms to wait in, and good advice on where and what to look for.

We knew seeing the lights would be a crapshoot, and while it didn't work for us, Arctic Day did all they could to give us a good time.

We did this excursion the first week in September and had a great time. Lovely views and a comfortable coach ride. The driver/guide (Mike) had a great personality and was very informative. We chose this excursion because it went into the Yukon instead of stopping at the top of the pass like our train option. There was light rain and overcast on the Alaska side of the pass; but it did not stop us from having beautiful views of the scenery. We had better weather once we crossed over into Canada and the Yukon. I certainly recommend this excursion, with this company, to others.

Guides Liz and Sam were super awesome. Even though there was snow on the ground and roads, Sam was an excellent driver. We saw several animals in the preserve but sadly not the moose, he was hiding. Their commentary was most enlightening and enjoyable. Then the hot springs warmed us up. I would recommend this to anyone going to that area.

We lucked out with the most beautiful, clear day into the Yukon Territory. We traveled with 4 Jeeps in our party and it was easy to follow along with the iPads provided. As others recommended, if you are on a cruise, de-board the boat as soon as you can to get in line to get your jeep. Once we checked in, there was a long wait. We were able to beat a lot of the bus tours and had many of the sites to ourselves. Make sure to leave time coming back to Alaska. Customs returning to the US was quick but we did wait about an hour in line to get into Canada in the morning. This was a great way to see the sights on your own. We took the top off the Jeep and had a blast!!

Noah was absolutely fantastic. Gave us a wonderful tour and was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We would definitely recommend Noah and skagway tours!

We did the three-night, four-day tour with Arctic Range and loved every minute of it. While we were only able to see the Northern Lights for one night (it was too cloudy the other two nights), it still made for a wholly remarkable, memorable trip. The "office team" at Arctic Range was very helpful in rearranging our schedule when we decided to throw in two additional activities (dog sledding and snowmobiling -- both very much worth it), and the "field team" that actually conducted the tours were among some of the friendliest, most professional and accommodating young folks you'll ever meet. (Whitehorse draws people from all around the world, and the Arctic Range staff represents that diversity, which we really came to appreciate.) Very glad we did the clothing rental (we did the "Arctic Winter" package); we were able to wear a couple of light and mid-weight layers under their pants and parkas and stayed plenty warm. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book the same tour again.

Erin was really awesome! She had all kinds of extras for us, hot drinks with souvenir cup, snacks, and NYE party favors. She went way out of the ordinary to find the lights for us. Great tour!!

I am so glad we did the bus up, train back! The knowledge our guide shared was so amazing and we made picture stops! The Suspension Bridge was phenomenal and make sure to grab a bag of chips in the little Cafe! I wish I grabbed bags to bring back, Canadian made! The train ride BACK was exceptionally nice because we had learned on the mini bus about things we were passing. On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 20! I'm going in June and already booked so I can take my cousin!! Go for it!

My sister and I signed up for the half day snow shoeing trip, and had a fun couple of hours with Kei, our guide, and the rest of our small tour.

The terrain was easy going, so no need to be super fit to have an enjoyable time on the tour. Kei talked a lot about the wildlife that can be seen out on the trails, and we came across a few dog sled teams. We also had a stop off at Fish Lake for some hot chocolate in the very cold temperatures.

    Overall quite enjoyable

I highly recommend Skagway Luxury Tours. We had the best day with Jaren and it was one of the highlights of the cruise. It was just our family and it was so nice to be able to stop for photos and get personalized attention. We even saw a bear!!!! A SUV picks you up at the Ore Dock, right next to the ship. The SUV fits six. In addition to all other of the photo stops, we stopped at the Yukon Suspension Bridge on the way up as well as Carcross, YT for bathroom breaks. On the way back to Skagway we stopped back at the Yukon Suspension Bridge for lunch which was amazing! Jaren knows a ton about the area and was able to answer all of our questions.

Jaron was both informative and entertaining. I’d recommend to the naturalist or history buff. We saw a moose today which was one of our highlights of the excursion. Good glimpse at at how massive and culturally rich this territory is
