The driver/guide (Mike) had a great personality and was very informative. We chose this excursion because it went into the Yukon instead of stopping at the top of the pass like our train option. There was light rain and overcast on the Alaska side of the pass; but it did not stop us from having beautiful views of the scenery. We had better weather once we crossed over into Canada and the Yukon. Before we went to the suspension bridge, she assured us that it wouldn't be scary, and she was right. I could have spent the whole time there just looking at the scenery from the bridge. We also went to several other scenic spots, and she made great suggestions as to where to stand to get great photos. - Mike B17 contributionsWhen the White Pass Yukon Route Railway train from Whitehorse to Skagway was cancelled for 2022, I needed alternative transportation options for my trip.
I fortunately found the Skagway Explorer tour through Epic North.This trip takes you from Whitehorse to Skagway, making a number of interesting stops along the way (e.g. Emerald Lake, Forty Mile Rapids, Carcross, Carcross Desert and many more).
The owner of Epic was always responsive to my emails. He agreed to pick me up from Skagway midway through the tour and bring me back to Whitehorse. If it wasn't for them, I may still be stranded in Alaska!
Huge thanks to Yuya for being a great driver/tour guide. He is quite knowledgeable, personable and accommodating.

The first example is by delaying the tour to start slightly later due to the longer winter night and shorter daylight. It sounds simple but it is actually worth noting the experience of the tour company. Our guide Yu, is from Japan and has stayed in Yukon for almost a decade and has a vast amount of knowledge and history about the culture and wildlife of Yukon. Hence, my family and I had an incredible tour. - Edmundo Delgado4 contributionsArctic Range had terrible service, we have rented to them winter clothes, for more than $250cad per person, the snow boots didn’t fit for my wife, the tour guide that gave us the clothing took us to the store they rented the clothes (40% cheaper) but the store was closed for 2 of the 3 rented days, he told us we couldn't do anything… his name was Leo, the third day when we went to the store continued closed, when we had a big complain at the office, Jessica told you should let me know earlier, we did it, through the tour guide…. Between they were finger pointing one to each other…. Finally they were able to open the store for us and we changed the boots.
I normally write good reviews when I received a great service, this is the first time I write a bad review, just because the bad customer service and attention I received.

Manuela and Jeff and their crew took us some adventures which is exciting and the meals prepared by Manuela were also really great . And their dogs are adorable and super friendly! People, dogs, accommodation and activities .. All of them were perfect for us.
