This museum is beautifully organized and curated, and exceeded expectations in every way. I especially enjoyed all of the gold rush information and exhibits, as well as the animals of Yukon exhibit. The Indigenous information was also beautifully presented with hundreds of interesting photos and artifacts. We intended to spend an hour, and spent almost 3.

This museum has a lot of interesting displays including a G sized model train if the White Pass railway in Whitehorse (which btw the real one should come all the way to Whitehorse again like it used to). The displays are in really good shape and cover all modes of transport. It also gives a sense of how transportation was used and adapted to the north country. We would go again if given the chance.

This is an amazing Interpretive Centre! We took the tour with Tracy and she was delightful to listen to. Full of knowledge and well presented, she gave an entertaining and knowledgeable presentation. Very well done and I could have listened to her for hours!
This is a must-see in my opinion.

I have been drinking craft brews more ever since I first tried the Yukon Brewing Co.’s at a chocolate tasting/pairing event.

They offer tours so if you are interested in the process be sure to call ahead. The fall tour schedule is different than the summer so be sure to know when it is happening if you are staying around Whitehorse for a while.

It is fantastic to come and see the location that brews it all.

Always a great stop on my annual visit to Whitehorse. There is always an interesting mix of local artist creations and I don’t always purchase something but always enjoy taking in the creative energy.
Well done keeping this place available.

This is the second time we visit Whitehorse and North End Gallary is a mist visit place. The merchandise are unique by artist. We bought a few crafted jewellery from them this time. Must visit.

We stopped by for a quick visit. This is a large facility set up as a community center for locals. The main exhibit hall was closed for refurbishment, so not much to see. There was a class for hat making going on while we visited in one of the many rooms available. The artifacts shown in the main entrance and hallway were interesting.

Wow! This facility is amazing. We used the aquatic center. The pool water was perfect. Hot tub, steam room and sauna was a real treat. The view from the pool area was so beautiful. Went upstairs to check out the walking track. A day pass was around 7 dollars which is very reasonable. Very clean facility.

I really enjoyed the exhibits in the art gallery that were there in Sept 2022. Beautiful photography, insightful texts, and gorgeous bead work that provided insights into Indigenous culture in the north.

During our stay outside Whitehorse on a mission to witness the magical Aurora, we came across Lumel Gallery and signed up for a 1 hour Hot Date for 2.
What an incredible experience for couples or friends. We had so much fun!
The passion of the team at Lumel is infectious.
The amazing Noah and Alec? guided us through creating 2 ornaments each. Choosing colours was the hardest part!
The ethos, community spirit and community engagement is a credit to the wonderful owners.
The artistic team members made this one-of-a-kind experience safe and one never to be forgotten.
Our creations will make us smile whenever we look at them.
We also bought some other special items made by the local artists as gifts.
The studio is worth taking time to look around with much history and fascinating inclusion of local ash in their creations.
Thank you so much Lumel team …. Lumel Gallery is a Whitehorse community gem

Excellent variety of beer. Lucky to have Happy Schnitzel food truck on site on our visit. Sure not to be missies for beer lovers. It is on the south side of town right of the highway.

A nice Museum with information on the history of the Church. Across the street are several interesting Murals. I got my Yukon Passport stamped at this Museum.

Fabian Schmitz for two winters now has been a member of our crew at the Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra and it has been a real pleasure. He is a true professional and his skills are amazing - both when it comes to interacting with our athletes and other crew members. You could say: "He definitely knows his stuff"! Also, not only is he a bushcraft expert but also very skilled in (wilderness) first aid. We hope he continues working with us for many years to come and I can highly recommend Bushcraft Yukon to anyone who wants true expertise, customer friendly service and reliability when discovering what the Yukon Territory has to offer.
