- vhfsunseekerVanderhoof, Canada26 contributionsWe brought out of country visitors and relatives from out of town, and they were all very impresseed as were we. The guides were very imformative and it was wonderful to see the different stages of the life cycle of these amazing fish.Written October 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MountaineerCoqCoquitlam, Canada174 contributionsWe booked our spot through their online website which worked really well. Reserving a spot is highly recommended. The nights we stayed there the park was full. The interior roads and site entrances are tight. We stayed at 2 different sites (on two different occasions on this trip) and both times it took a fair amount of maneuvering to get in. This is due to overgrown trees, stumps, and ditches (and also the narrow roadway). Some sites have a much easier parking situation so if you have a big rig try to book site 40. Once in the site, you have a good amount of private space to call your own. Being a provincial park there is of course no service whatsoever at the sites. There is sani-dump at the entrance of the park. Cell reception is not bad so you can stay connected through that. Each site has a fire ring and very nice picnic table. There is highway noise which you can definitely hear as well as an occasion train. I would still recommend this place because of the area.Written August 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If we had not stopped at the visitor centre and asked the young lady we would not have found it. As it was we still drove right by it. Parking is nonexistant.Written July 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DejaVK13Vanderhoof, Canada43 contributionsWell I have never had Chinese food here this was my first time.
But Pagoda was closed and Glens was open, so my choices were limited In Vanderhoof.
So I ordered a combination with chow mein, beef chop suey & dry garlic pork with sweet & sour sauce on the side.
Well it was no pagoda, it was okay. The portion size is way bigger than at pagoda but it was full of water chestnuts. They were so large that I thought they were potato slices in my beef chop suey.
But it was okay the dry garlic pork was really tasty.
So this combination was $ 16.00 with sauce on the side.
The price is more than Pagoda, but you get more food.
And they were open on a Sunday also.
So it’s a good value.Written April 9, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Definitely worth a stop before or after Bakkerij Lobelle, easily the best pastry shop in central British Columbia.Written July 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
