*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
It is worth the long drive. The scenery is beautiful and the ride back is fantastic. Rodney is a great guide and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Hayley was absolutely helpful and understanding as our group of 3 had to cancel a booked shark cage dive experience 16 hours before pickup. Unfortunately one of our group was admitted to hospital having collapsed suddenly, the best possible outcome he had food poisoning and recovered. Hayley has gone beyond to help recover our cost of the cancelled trip and arrange a bank transfer to my UK bank account. On return to Cape Town hopefully next year my first first port of call will be to 75 Loop Street and book another experience with Go That Way.
We saw a whale mother with her Baby and this was very moving!!! Especially our driver Mazenga was wonderful and very thoughtful. Thank you for the great experience!
Fantastic tour with lots of things to do. Christine was a great energetic guide who always gave great advice on how to best spend our time. She was always taking photos of us so we could enjoy the moment and not worry about needing to take any ourselves!
I chose the backpackers accommodation which was well above expectations - we only stayed in one hostel and the rest were hotels/private rooms on farms.
Food was also great - often freshly cooked by the staff at our accommodation to suit our schedule.
Being a small group of 9 we were able to shift around our itinerary depending on the weather/our interests. Even if you don’t want to do the optional activities there is still plenty of things to do instead - any many places to swim!
I recently booked a tour with Real Africa Travel Tours, and it was incredible! The stunning scenery and well-organized itinerary made for an unforgettable experience. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate. I highly recommend Real Africa Travel Tours for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Africa!
Excellence trip. The tour managed well and my guide, Isa, was very nice. Betty's bay is much better place than Boulder beach to see Puenguin. Worth a long trip from Cape Town.
The trip was a little more expensive than the other companies, but my, what a bonus. Picked up at hotel, private car. Whale watch and lunch at this fabulous place right down on the rocks with the ocean waves 10 ft. away. Could see whales right from our table. ( restaurant = The Cave) Then a stop at Stony Point for, off the tourist route, penguins.! Then ride home was different and saw more of the peninsula. Fabulous, and well worth the extra money.
We had an amazing experience that exceeded all our expectations. Ruben, our tour guide was warm and excited to show us all the interesting places, and helped us to take lots of photos. He was very knowledgeable and enriched the trip and our overall experience by providing a rich background and context to all the places we visited. Can't wait to do this again.
As a group of students doing studies on wildlife this was a perfect trip. i led this group from the UK and Raw Tours did not disappoint. We arrived at the gearings point the most vintage point for whale watching but were advised to do the boat based whale watching.
Our guide Eric was swift and smart by arranging that trip with the boat company. And we were taken out at sea deep into the ocean and on the other side of the bay. It was action all the 2 hours till we left. Those huge creations are so graceful in water and very shy also.
We had the opportunity to visit the penguins also at a place called stony beach where we got so close to the African penguins. The drive back - McLaren drive is also an awesome sight.
