Lots of shops to choose from. Lots of high-end clothing stores but also lots of very good sales. Seems that some businesses were liquidating their products.

Have not been to a racetrack in a long time. We went to Sunset Speedway as an outing while in Collingwood. It is just over an hour drive. Saw several classes of cars racing. The big boys, Outlaw class, was exciting and very loud. Small children should wear protective sound cancelling head phones. Wear sunscreen or something to protect you from the sun, no shade while watching races. Loud speaker system is also very loud. Inexpensive outing and I enjoyed it , my wife not as much , but it was an experience that I was glad I went to.

It’s been decades since I was last here. We arrived early on a Sunday morning and it was great to walk without any crowds. Parking was $1 and plenty of spaces. The indoor market felt like the same stuff was being sold at each stall after 10 mins. Lots of vendors.
The best part was the food selection. Delicious baked goods and we bought kebabs to barbecue at home that were amazing.
The antique market was full of items. Nice to walk and reminisce about the past.
A nice way to spend a couple of hours indoors.

I like the structure of the building. There was a good route to follow and that also helped with social-distancing.

BE AWARE! The parking meters at the beach. It is $12 an hour to a maximum of $60 for the day. A ticket for not paying is $120. NO EXCUSES! And they will ticket you. What I find disconcerting is that there should be a sign(s) put up by the city to make tourists completely aware what the costs are and for how long. I do not remember any messaging on the meter itself. I strongly recommend if there’s any city counsellors reading this, that for purposes of goodwill, a separate sign explaining this is in order, otherwise it feels like thievery from a small town, and leaves a rancid taste in one’s mouth. It is in everyone’s a vested interest.

Went in to throw a few bucks in the slots. Busy place but had fun. Didn't win. Will give you a fill in if you're missing Vegas.

We hadn't been back here to enjoy the live horse racing since before the pandemic until the other night. What a disappointment it was. We had such fond memories of coming for a fun night of horse racing but now it's just lacking. They've gotten rid of the food and drink concession stands so you can't get anything to eat or drink while here. You can go into the casino part and get stuff from the restaurant there but you can't bring it out to the track. Plus any families with younger kids get screwed as the kids can't even go into the casino to get something to eat. I get that the post-pandemic world has left attendance down so they can't warrant opening the concession stands but would it kill them to even just have a hot dog vendor available there on race nights? Definitely not as enjoyable as it used to be.

This is a wonderful way to spend a few hours ( wear your bug spray ) and the trails have lovely markers and information plaques along route . My only complaint was that the Spruce Trail leads you to the major roadway and then turns into a totally different named Trail/Path . A tad confusing since a LOOP trail should always circle back to itself . Still it is large enough and interesting enough to have brought my kids and I ( 8 & 12 ) out three times and each time we tried a different trail and had a good time .

This theatre is housed in a very historic building in Cookstown Ontario. The businesses in the community are very supportive of this establishment. The front office staff are very. welcoming. Theatre goers readily mingle in the foyer and can purchase water ,tea and baked goods before the show. The theatre even provides soft cushions as the traditional hard wooden seats might be uncomfortable for some patrons. Parking is free and available on sidestreets nearby. We saw a wonderful production of Hello Dolly The singing and dancing by all cast members was first rate, especially the character of Millie. It was particularly great to see young cast members being able to gain experience with working with more seasoned players. The price was very reasonable.

This is becoming an annual event for innisfil, plenty for the whole family to do. The food is great they have several pit masters serving a wide variety of bbq products (Ribs chicken brisket ect) plus a variety of different food trucks and stands.there is also a midway for the kids and a variety of flea market style tables .also live music it's a nice evening out.The only complaint I have is they seem to have the same bbq company's each year a little variety would be nice there are a lot of excellent pit masters on the circuit

This was our first time coming to Laura’s and we weren’t disappointed! They had a really great selection of pumpkins, and a corn maze with fun activities to do while you walk around. Dog friendly.
