- Antavia H8 contributionsWe had a wine tasting here in the off-season of PEC. This was one of the first wineries in the county and the owners are very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about their wine. Each wine we tasted was unique as they guided us through our tasting. We also ordered a cheeseboard which we cannot stop raving about. The homemade chutney was so delicious and could be paired wonderfully with any of the cheeses. There is an option to snowshoe the trails of the winery, while we did not do this activity, it is a popular attraction to do in the winter. We cannot wait to come back and visit during the summer!Written February 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rob 10KOttawa, Canada259 contributionsGreat beach, clear fine sand, the water had waves of a pretty decent size the one day it was windy. Clean, plenty of facilities and twenty minutes from Sandbanks if that park is all filled up. Long, flat beach so people who want to get their 10K steps will have no issues here. Interesting that this is more like a 'sand bar' so that you have water on either side of the beach area.Written August 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MandB56Cambridge, Canada469 contributionsWe stopped in here on a beautiful fall day and enjoyed a flight of wines each. We were a little skeptical about what our experience would be like when we came across the big purple barn, but don't let that fool you. Because there was no food available for purchase we were allowed to set up our own little mini picnic in the garden. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the quiet. We had some interesting conversations regarding the vineyards and their production with our server, which is always appreciated as it is always a learning experience we are after. Wine was purchased! We would definitely return and recommend.Written January 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jen598Peterborough, Canada119 contributionsGreat pasta! All of us loved our lunch and felt it was good value. Nice ambiance in the restored barn. Cashier could have been friendlier but thankfully the pasta chefs were wonderfully friendly. We were surprised to see only two wines and one cider available for tasting or buying. Samples were very expensive ($3 each) and a 5oz glass of wine was $14. We felt a sample should be included with lunch, at least. Overall, a good experienceWritten July 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Stephanie C11 contributionsReally cute place with European style hot dogs. It’s possible to buy a tasting kit which was an amazing idea but the white wine was not cold so we did not enjoy as much as we wanted. Overall pretty good!Written July 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Irene SGrimsby, Canada225 contributionsVery Nice winery. During COVID it is outside patio tasting only, which is a good thing for sure. Staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable. The ground were well kept and tidy. They had sanitizer for everyone to use. Nice wines.Written July 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Not only was the brew master helping us with our flight of ciders, she was teaching us a bit about coder process and what flavours and notes we would get! - Kevin AguannoPort Perry, Canada27 contributionsStopped by this lovely little establishment. It was after harvest, so there wasn't much to see in the fields but the boutique was lovely with lots of creative products based upon the farm's lavender. Staff was very helpful in answering questions. Good COVID-19 management protocols -- we felt safe. We were even given a complimentary lavender plant when we checked out, as our order was > $100. Overall, a very pleasant and surprisingly interesting experience.Written September 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PurplegrapefruitBelleville, Canada594 contributionsTrail offers some very different wines, including orange wines. Good quality wine. My only suggestion would be to offer tastings instead of purchasing only by the glass. With such drastically different offerings such as many skin-contact (orange) wines, I would have loved the chance to try more than one, unless you want to sip from your partner's glass.Written August 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
