What travellers are saying
- Desyana SquiresBali, Indonesia1,438 contributionsI must go here by boat I book for a full day trip.
Please wear comfortable shoes, sun glasses, a hat, bring water and I am wearing a long sleeve cloth to protect my skin from sun burn.
9am already hot.
Prepare your stamina as you must climb the steps to get to the top. The best 360 degrees view is from the top which is a bit difficult to access.
If you have heart problems or any health problems, then better not to climb this place.
The views are breathtaking. I took lots of pictures. Can't get enough😅Written October 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Numerous boats (we counted about 50) come at sunset and drop anchor.
Reason for this is the thousands of fruit bats that predictably fly overhead shortly after sunset.
If you’re doing an overnight Komodo cruise, it should be included.Written October 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I forgot to take my camera to take a photo as I was just too excited to swim.Written October 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We also snorkelled around the bay from here which again was to ourselves. This was our first time to Labuan Bajo and compared to Bali it is much more quiet which we loved. Only tip would be- government officials, who to their credit are spending alot of money on great tourism infrastructure in the region- should put some money into the dodgy local pier at the tiny town of Rangko where you catch the boat to the cave, it is navigable but Hati Hati!- falling down and dangerous for tourists and locals alikeWritten September 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - blake9 contributionsReally cool experience but not the best of its kind. The fish are generally fresh, we picked a stall that locals were ordering and eating at to make sure it was fresh and well-priced.
We really tried but believe that the days of haggling for the price of the fish have passed. Prices are very rigid and on laminated on menus. The seating area is incredibly smokey, like a bonfire.
We had a Blue Parrot fish and flavour was nice, not overcooked but could’ve done with more marinade/sauce. We liked it but thought we’d had better on the beach at Bingin in Bali.Written September 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Should stagger arrival times but that takes a bit of cooperation and planning which is lacking here.
The wooden pier is in disrepair; a Spaniard cut his foot on a nail, I had first aid kit so treated his wound. Lots of splinters awaiting flesh. They are a bit lazy (something to be thankful for, you don't want them to be actively chasing you). If I re-do the experience in the future, I will chose the shortest track. I find the medium track hike to the top is unnecessary. No more komodo sightings on the way, the view from the top is not as good as Padar (or Kelor).Written November 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zsuzsa.GuideTargu Secuiesc, Romania903 contributionsAnother beautiful place you have to stop for snorkeling and swimming if you take a boat trip. You can choose to go with local, private boatsWritten August 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Didi12 contributionsThe falls are hard to see unless you're willing to jump into the water (between rocks) and go swim to see it up close. They seem quite nice, though.Written August 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
