    What a fantastic dragon experience!

To start off, communication was top shelf. We were told exactly what to bring re clothing, cash...

Picked up promptly from our hotel. Guide then explained exactly what to expect for the trip.
Captain of the boat did a great job getting us from A to be B to C.

The guide, turns out to b a closet photography enthusiest. So not only did we get to experience dragons, snorkeling and turtles. The pics came out great as well!!

Saw a total of five Komodo Dragon, after being told that we'd be lucky to see one. Talk about setting the bar low, haha.

We also managed to see five turtles while snorkeling. That was the cherry on top of a terrific day out.

P.s the food was yummy yummy in our tummy's.

All in all, we give this trip:

    FIVE DRAGONS (STARS)

Almost every destination exceeded my expectations and had a great time every place we stopped. Possibly the best day we had in our 13 days in Indonesia.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my booking.

First, I tried to reschedule the trip, which they did for me. But then, they told me that they had made a mistake and that they didn’t have an available spot for me the next they.
I was given the option to cancel or reschedule the trip. I got to cancel it and got a full refund even though I it was within the first 24h of my original booking date.

Too bad, I didn’t get to do this trip with them.

This tour was honestly the highlight of our trip. We travelled with our two daughters aged 6 and 7 and the guides were amazing. There was no pressure to do all the activities but they were all great for all ages.

Our daughters were a bit young for the snorkelling in the current for the Mantas but we sat at the front of the boat and they thought that was the best. The guides were amazing with them and helped us if we needed it.

If you’re hesitating for the long day, don’t. We shared the boat with a group of other travellers but there was enough room for everyone and not over crowded at all.
Lunch was supplied but if you’re travelling with kids pack a few snacks for the in between boat rides to keep them happy.

Thank you for a fantastic day we will never forget

This trip was amazing. Our guide, Juan Miun, was very friendly and ensured we were comfortable throughout the 3 days. We visited some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever seen and got up-close with 9 Komodo Dragons. The food onboard was great and the crew were all fun and friendly. The only thing that could be better is if the AC unit didn’t drain onto the bathroom floor- felt a bit gross when going to the bathroom and getting back in bed in the middle of the night. Other than than, we loved every second.

really breathtaking places, we kept waking up to different amazing views. the crew of Gamala boat is super cool, Denny is a great host and Adi is a very passionate photographer. Captain was also very great, the chef? genius! I didn’t expect to enjoy such fresh food on the sea with so many options—everyone made our trip so memorable. pick up and drop off was also smooth. would do this trip again and longer!

We booked our trip via Seek Sophie, which was relatively easy. But some mistake happened when we added 1 more person. The additional payment was lost and I had to go through many rounds of email communication to correct it. It will be an exciting trip if you are really interested in exotic creatures of this world. Otherwise, it might be a torture for you to float 3 days in the sea. The boat will be not be that big or that new as it appears on the website. In my opinion, only master bedroom was barely ok for the size and comfort. If you want to join a group, it will be more cost effective. But most group trours only leave on Friday. I had to book a private tour instead with a few friends. Food quality was better than expected but hygiene conditions on boat was not satisfactory because I found cockroaches in the room. Air condition is a must if you look at any boat. We had private bathroom which was a big plus although it was a very very small space. Don't expect too much from tour guide. He will only help taking pictures. Komodo National Park has its own tour guides. Please consider going to Rinca Island also. You can see more dragons with much fewer tourists. The park was more beautiful than Komodo Island. Pink beach was definitely worth it. But it would not appear that colorful. Lower your expectation please. I won't try speedy boats because you will waste too much time over water in a day. 3D/2N living on boat is the best choice. Definitely book a boat with aircondition and private bathroom please. In a word, everything uncomfortable was worth it when I saw the wonderful creature by God.

Amazing day. The crew were super helpful and friendly. Only 6 others on board. I had my 5 year old daughter with me and they looked out for her and helped her when needed. Super kind. Recommend to anyone.

The whole experience was fantastic. Our guides Irwin and Alfred were very organised and made sure we all had the best time and were looked after throughout. The food was great, the accommodation was faultless. All the crew were great. I would highly recommend this trip.

Our family had an amazing time on 3 days/2 night Komodo island. The staff were very friendly, especially Rian as our guide. We saw Komodo dragon on Komodo island, manta rays,. so many fish. The views were insane. Very comfortable cabins with AC. Food very tasteful. Have the boat to ourself which is simple, clean and comfortable. Thank you to the team Discovery Komodo Adventure for such a great time.

Great trip combination - all timed for the least busiest times.
Rinca and Kelang Island truly awesome.
However in retrospect I wouldn’t go on the hill hike at the first island. Too treacherous for the view. Wish I’d snorkelled there instead!
Alex took good care of us especially when snorkelling on the second island. He took our GoPro and took some wonderful footage of a hawksbill tearing up the coral.
    Tomas and Gerry good too.

We went in the morning, and the great thing about this experience is it is pretty rustic and unlike Bali- natural AND not crazy crowded by 40 influencers. We got picked up in Labuan Bajo, nice drive to the boat which is old school wooden, then 15 minute boat trip, snorkeled for 40 minutes around the bay with no flippers (not needed), then had the cave to ourselves. Yeah the cave itself was dark- maybe because its a cave!? If you want it lit up go in the afternoon with the masses. The boat was old school, the guide was friendly and helpful. The dock was a bit Hati Hati dodgy with many missing planks, but part of the fun- though the government officials should wake up and fix it as this is a cool experience worth doing. More for the adventurous than those seeking a lux experience- good value for money.

We visited this cave on a private tour. The road trip took an hour and was a small winding road. We saw the occasional monkey cross the road as we made our way to the small coastal town, where we caught a small boat to the cave. The tide was out so we had to fill in time by visiting and swimming from a large sand island. The tide was still low when we arrived at the location of the cave. Our boat was parked 300 meters away from the pier, The walk to the pier in the shallow water, allowed us to wonder at the amount of large two-tone brown starfish scattered all around us. The cave itself has a steep wooden ladder at the entrance. They say it is best to arrive around 10 am as the sun is at the right height to fill the cave with light. We arrived later and the cave was partially filled with light. You need to climb down a rocky surface to the water which may be challenging for some. The experience was well worth the effort. Whilst we could swim in safety, and could see the water's edge in natural light, the back of the cave on our visit was black with no light. For us, this just added to the mystery of the cave. We loved the visit. Highly recommended as a must-do.
