- sashakeenaVancouver, Canada11,343 contributionsCOVID Safe, however the foot traffic & visitors have been very limited, which affects the businesses. Still recommend going to enjoy the shops and the view of the inner harbour.Written May 23, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SaraM604North Vancouver, Canada127 contributionsI didn't think I would like raw vegan food ... I was very very wrong! Full of flavour and colour! Look forward to finding their truck again soon!Written October 2, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 2001NH562 contributionsWent to Richmond night market last Weekend and in comparison, this is smaller and quieter. Had some different foods than Richmond which was mostly fried. There was some good Polish and Filipino food which was not represented at Richmond. Definitely worth a visitWritten September 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MmarymommPleasanton, CA1,738 contributionsWe needed a few things that we were running short of during our road trip and if you can’t find it at the Capilano Mall you are not looking hard enough! On top of all the retail stores there is a giant WalMart plus ample parking all around. It is really easy to get lost. There is a food court and we had lunch from Halima Grill and ate at one of the many tables nearby.Written September 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lomimuNorth Vancouver, Canada2,855 contributionsDefinitely not something to go out of your way for, but a nice local experience. The school district office is co-located here, so there are student art works on display as well as more established artists.
Check out their website for the regular "Classics at the Smith" and "Jazz at the Smith" musical/art evenings. A great deal at $10.Written February 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Scorpio-1001Vancouver, Canada645 contributionsI cant believe that it is so difficult to find and buy a replacement nylon/plastic buckle for a backpack or briefcase.
I finaly found 2 types on line. MEC carried them both. Their web site said they had them in stock. I made a special trip to this location. they had one of one brand adn none of the other brand.
I told clerak i need 2 pair. You need a pair because you will probably not find a male part that will fit your female good one, or visa versa. They also had bulk buckles but they were not well organized and we could not figure out which fit which.
the clerk was very helpful during this process , but unfortunately not very knowledgeable about buckles. she ended up calling the warehouse where they had some in stock. they were now going to deliver them to my house, ( free shipping; that was a good thing).
It seem that backpacks and bags have built in obsolescence.
about 3 days later i got my delevery. one pair of buckles were good. the second are defective. ugh. these should be 50 cents things. I paid $6.75 each and they are defective. Now i need to go back to MEC to get a replacement.
With gas in Vancouver at $1.70/liter. it will cost me more on gas then these things are worth. Plus add in delivery.
Stay tuned i am sure MEC will make this right, but for an environmentally friendly organization they are living in a disposable world. Cant they make products that are easy to repair?Written April 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At least 3 times a week we go shopping at Lonsdale Ayoubs. This is one of my favourite places to shop snacks. Everything is perfect about it,. and the workers are so kind and helpful. Everything is so fresh and delicious. I have tried them all. I recommend this 100 percent. The variety of the products is hight too.Written January 9, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tom YBritish Columbia, Canada93 contributionsDropped by for a coffee and a sweet. Both were great. It was at 11.15 am so there was a parking space. At very busy times parking is limited and so is space to eat.Written December 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
