He is a great guy with a sense of humour to match and a wealth of information to impart. There’s lots of short loop trails that give you lots of views. I can’t imagine how busy it must be in the summer. The views were fabulous, and sailing off Vancouver was an unforgettable experience. We felt very welcomed, and enjoyed the snacks (ketchup chips and local beer in particular). Christine was great, the trip was just as good. The views from the mountain are amazing. We loved seeing the bears. Christine was full of information and the staff were very friendly. The cliff walk and suspension bridge were a great experience at Capilano. The staff were also very friendly. All in all a great time for a really reasonable price. - Barb B1 contributionThis was a perfect way to introduce us to Vancouver. Tima was an excellent guide through the city, to west Vancouver, and throughout the greater metropolitan areas. There were many opportunities to take scenic photos. She was very knowledgeable about the historical and present areas around the city. We enjoyed lunch near a thriving bayside shopping and dining area. - Travel Fam IncSurrey, Canada15 contributionsFirst time going back in about 4 years. Every year they add more and more. Plan your arrival around making the lumber jack show. Show up a little late and you will have to wait up to 3 hours for the next one.
There are two restaurants in the main building, a buffet and a nicer sit down restaurant. The meat platter is worth it.
There is a new other restaurant, a bird show, and a really great bear exhibit with two rescued bears.
I'd give it a 5 star rating, but for the price, you would still expect more. Our driver/ comedian/ and knowledgeable guy, Brandon H. was so much fun! This was a wonderful tour of the city, the suspension bridge, and everything in between. Great way to see so much just passing time for a red eye flight back home. I would definitely book with this tour operator again.
Learned a lot and saw a lot.
