This is a must-do for visitors to Vancouver. The suspension bridge is impressive, and the walkways, including the treetop walk, are well built into the forest, or against the cliff-face.

Being from Australia, my family had been to similar bridges and suspended walks at home, but this was the first time we had seen a rainforest of pine trees, and the deep gorge and clear fast river add some drama to the scenery. To cap it off, there is a good selection of light or restaurant food for after the walk.

The only thing that didn’t resonate with us was the addition of artificial lights throughout the walkways. Perhaps because we weren’t there in the evening, we didn’t get to appreciate the lights in the dusk, but in the daylight, we felt that nature would have done better without artificial additions.

FREE, as opposed to the highly-developed Capilano Bridge park area. We visited both. Totally different vibe. Lynn Canyon was much less traveled and thus much quieter. We enjoyed our hike here.

We spent a few hours at Deep Cove and were able to park by the water. The views were stunning and there was plenty of space to sit by the bay and watch the kayaks and paddle boards. We spent time in the small village (currently having a lot of work on the road) and bought excellent ice creams. This is such a beautiful area and well worth a visit (avoid busy times if possible).

It is free to enter and wander through this facility. It was interesting to see the fish ladder, both outside next to the river and from the underground viewing area. There were plenty of posters providing information about the hatchery and different salmon species. A great place to learn about Canada's native salmon, their life cycle and to observe them up close. There were toilets available. We walked up to the hatchery from the Suspension Bridge park, 20 minutes, accurately predicted by Google!

We had tickets for Grouse Mountain that included the Eye of the Wind. Unfortunately the weather was awful but we went up anyway.
It takes about a minute in the lift and at the top is a small circuit walkways with windows that give unrestricted views. In higher winds the you can feel a slight sway.
You have to be accompanied and there is obviously a restriction on the number of people who can be at the top at the same time.

Another kid friendly place to go. Lots of things to climb on like old trucks and a playground and great views of the ferry coming in.

A great little farm to get your fresh produce and herbs. Not open year round, but worth the trip when they are. Check out the ways they grow their products out in the fields. Interesting
