Obviously a beautiful place to visit. We chose and Uber from the city and it was not far. Halloween decorations were well done. Recommend

This free, 600 acre park offers a number of experiences: a suspension bridge, many walking trails (short or long and of varying difficulty), waterfalls, swimming holes and picnic areas. The trails through the lush forest are clear and easy to follow with the map. The river provides a tranquil spot to sit for a while on the boulders. We had our lunch here, accompanied by Douglas Fir squirrels! The area seemed popular with locals and tourists alike. Amenities included toilets, ample parking, and Lynn Canyon Cafe. It was easy to reach the park using public transport from Vancouver city.

Cable car up to the top was amazing. Such a great view of Vancouver down below. It wasn't a sunny day and it was snowing once we got to the top. It was out of season so wasn't too busy. There was an ice rink. Staff were shovelling ice off the paths ready for the Peak of Christmas. The bears were hibernating. There was an incredible view past the bear den of the snowy mountains on the horizon. Probably not much to do here unless you're skiing.

We spent a few hours at Deep Cove and were able to park by the water. The views were stunning and there was plenty of space to sit by the bay and watch the kayaks and paddle boards. We spent time in the small village (currently having a lot of work on the road) and bought excellent ice creams. This is such a beautiful area and well worth a visit (avoid busy times if possible).

FREE, as opposed to the highly-developed Capilano Bridge park area. We visited both. Totally different vibe. Lynn Canyon was much less traveled and thus much quieter. We enjoyed our hike here.

Having visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, out guided tour then took us up to the Grove Mountain Ski Area. We rode the Mountain Skyride for access to the top and found it all a great experience. At the top, we were able to purchase lunch (even if the prices seemed over the top) but wandered around to enjoy the views overlooking Vancouver as well as visit the 2 grizzly bears kept up there and went to the free lumber jack show which was entertaining with a real comedy theme running through it.
Added to the morning trip to Capilano Park it made for a very good outing.

This was one of my first hikes in Vancouver, and I have done it multiple times over the past few years. The hike is simple with steps to guide you through. It is free and great for friends, families, pets and even the elderly.
In the end, the view is beautiful and peaceful.

Seeing the wildlife and going to the really quiet island. Our guide, Gabe took us to such peaceful spots. Great to see purple starfish, seals, even a chipmunk.

    Hi Isaac and Bryn!
My favourite zipline crewing of all times!
Thank you so much for one of the best zipline experiences that I had in a long time. You really took great care of me and showed me the beautiful views of Grouse Mountain. I loved your stories on the seat lift and enjoyed spending time with you. To be exact 1 hour because we set the record to 5 ziplines in 1 hour!
It was such a special trip.

    Have a great summer!

    Ellie
