This free, 600 acre park offers a number of experiences: a suspension bridge, many walking trails (short or long and of varying difficulty), waterfalls, swimming holes and picnic areas. The trails through the lush forest are clear and easy to follow with the map. The river provides a tranquil spot to sit for a while on the boulders. We had our lunch here, accompanied by Douglas Fir squirrels! The area seemed popular with locals and tourists alike. Amenities included toilets, ample parking, and Lynn Canyon Cafe. It was easy to reach the park using public transport from Vancouver city.
