This free, 600 acre park offers a number of experiences: a suspension bridge, many walking trails (short or long and of varying difficulty), waterfalls, swimming holes and picnic areas. The trails through the lush forest are clear and easy to follow with the map. The river provides a tranquil spot to sit for a while on the boulders. We had our lunch here, accompanied by Douglas Fir squirrels! The area seemed popular with locals and tourists alike. Amenities included toilets, ample parking, and Lynn Canyon Cafe. It was easy to reach the park using public transport from Vancouver city.

This is a must-do for visitors to Vancouver. The suspension bridge is impressive, and the walkways, including the treetop walk, are well built into the forest, or against the cliff-face.

Being from Australia, my family had been to similar bridges and suspended walks at home, but this was the first time we had seen a rainforest of pine trees, and the deep gorge and clear fast river add some drama to the scenery. To cap it off, there is a good selection of light or restaurant food for after the walk.

The only thing that didn’t resonate with us was the addition of artificial lights throughout the walkways. Perhaps because we weren’t there in the evening, we didn’t get to appreciate the lights in the dusk, but in the daylight, we felt that nature would have done better without artificial additions.

A free shuttle bus runs regularly to Grouse Mountain and back from Canada Place, downtown Vancouver, which takes around 25 minutes.

We arrived and got straight onto the gondola without any queuing.

Once at the top there was plenty to do, if we had realised that there was so much to do and see we would've tried to arrive earlier! But in the time we had we did well! Bears, birds, lunch, chairlift to the summit, and we even watched the amazing Lumberjack Show, which, as I said was amazing!

And as I said previously, the views back over Vancouver are stunning, the closer to the sky you are the better the views!

At $79.00pp, I'd say it's good value for money.

FREE, as opposed to the highly-developed Capilano Bridge park area. We visited both. Totally different vibe. Lynn Canyon was much less traveled and thus much quieter. We enjoyed our hike here.

Fantastic nature trail composed of stones and log stairs for 800m elevation over 3 kilometres. One hour is doable with no breaks if you are ok-conditioned. Sneakers are good at least if no rain. Fun fact: Canucks hockey player Daniel Sedin did this 11 times a day with average 1h/round.

We spent a few hours at Deep Cove and were able to park by the water. The views were stunning and there was plenty of space to sit by the bay and watch the kayaks and paddle boards. We spent time in the small village (currently having a lot of work on the road) and bought excellent ice creams. This is such a beautiful area and well worth a visit (avoid busy times if possible).

Having visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, out guided tour then took us up to the Grove Mountain Ski Area. We rode the Mountain Skyride for access to the top and found it all a great experience. At the top, we were able to purchase lunch (even if the prices seemed over the top) but wandered around to enjoy the views overlooking Vancouver as well as visit the 2 grizzly bears kept up there and went to the free lumber jack show which was entertaining with a real comedy theme running through it.
Added to the morning trip to Capilano Park it made for a very good outing.

Amazing hiking, I didn’t make it all the way to the top as I was with my 10 year old son and the sun was setting but he had no problem with the difficulty of the hike. The views from even half way up the Mystery Lake trail are amazing. I do recommend to bring a bathing suit and towel as there is a cool lake for swimming about 30 minutes into the hike. Do take the “bear in the area” signs serious if the sign is out. We saw one on the trail as we came around a corner but it didn’t bother with us thankfully. Trail and lake was not to busy on a sunny Friday afternoon for us.

From Lonsdale terminal we took the so-called "Sea Bus" to cross over North Vancouver and visit this place. The ride lasted for just a few minutes, but it was very relaxing and well organized. Nirth Vancouver is a lovely place to go to, with lots of eateries and pubs (among other things). The view of the city is also beautiful. But what I liked the most was exploring the Quay Market and Food Hall itself, with all its food kiosks and shops. There's a good selection of international cuisine to choose from. We opted for some Mexican food, which was great.

A gorgeous park with scenic views of the mountains, the Capilano River, and the Cleveland Dam. The place is ideal for a family picnic and a relaxing afternoon rest.

The trailhead is comfortable for recreational distant walking or hiking. Further down the trail is the Capilano River Hatchery and it’s amazing to watch the spawning ponds and jumping salmon.

A peaceful place to commune with nature.

Visited with my 11 y.o. son on a spur of the moment outing; rode our bikes there so easily found "parking" on a busy day right next to the entrance. They had a special visit from a reptile sanctuary which was the purpose of visiting however my son really enjoyed the ongoing exhibits as much as the guests. Thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there.

One of the best garden arrangements that we have seen. Mind blowing color full garden specially the sunken garden’s second section- can’t be missed. We shall always wish to visit again

This was one of my first hikes in Vancouver, and I have done it multiple times over the past few years. The hike is simple with steps to guide you through. It is free and great for friends, families, pets and even the elderly.
In the end, the view is beautiful and peaceful.
