It's terrific for a quick stop and a couple of photos. - CathyV63Vernon, Canada226 contributionsWe had a great trip to the desert centre. The staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. We learned so much. The tour given by Larissa was brilliant. She did a wonderful job of educating us about all the areas on the boardwalk trail. She brought the area to life and her enthusiasm for its ecology was infectious. The centre has great displays about the local flora and fauna and the boardwalk is truly marvellous. They even had umbrellas to borrow if you wanted shade from the sun on your walk. It is closed off, but you can definitely see it from the road. We stopped in for a tasting, ($5 per person), and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
The wines were delicious, our host extremely knowledgeable and charming. We had a great conversation. We also appreciate the Portuguese family heritage of the winery.

So much beautiful work to see. Very knowledgeable ladies working in the gallery. We can't say enough good things about the staff who are friendly and helpful. The course is very scenic. Reiki combo / massage tapped into some long repressed childhood memories in a safe caring environment.Allows for some much needed self acceptance, Armanda touched on some personal issues in confidence & 2 days later my son called and confirmed the upcoming 1st grandson :)
