- AJ421142Sherwood Park, Canada51 contributionsWas not able to connect vehicle radio system to hear the tour (with or without cable). Spotify music would open and play music over the tour. Tripvia representative stated that this is a common problem for some vehicle radios. I believe this is an application problem. Was told that I could connect to radio if I had a "osz" cable to connect to radi (believe this is a head phone cable).
We had to listen to tour using iPhone speakers. We had to replay many times due to not being able to hear what was said
The tour was not in sync with our location. A couple of examples;
- We were heading South West and the tour stated that if we looked to the North East we would see.... (bad advice to instruct some one to look directly behind them when driving on hi-way)
- driving well past an interchange, tour stated that if we were to take the next exit we could go to a water fall
Tripvia offered to refund our money. Started with a smaller more romantic place to stay and enjoy the inside pools to a more business centered hotel with expanded services and hot pools. My last stay was a short time ago. We stayed in the east wing which was dated but comfortable and the bed was comfy. The Copper Room dining room was not open and so the food choices were pared down. The lobby lounge area has food which we enjoyed, also the coffee shop was open for coffee and snacks. One of us had a hot stone massage which was amazing and the pools were nice..go at off times when not so busy.
Tips: Stay in east wing!! Area restaurants are sub par. /Eat at hotel. Use the pools at off times. Typical staff shortages / ie; could use staff at pools for direction . Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and insect repellent.
