Awesome experience crossing this old RR tunnel. Lights, sounds and.atmosphere makes the whole experience a must to do at Brockville. The area also is great to explore with a great waterfront walk

Well set up for children to enjoy their visit. Lots of activities and rest areas. Interactive sand is mesmerizing !
Would be nice if the beaver area was in a larger area for viewing as we were cramped in a small hallway, and not a lot of people in tank area.

::: The Brock Trail passes through most of Brockville, following the local creeks and the former railway lines. It is really a linear park that allows locals and visitors to experience the outdoor landscape of Brockville.
-- Many times, as it runs parallel to a waterway, the water can be seen.
-- The City is regularly expanding the route of the trail and upgrading it to provincial safety and accessible standards.
-- It is a must see and visit experience if you are in Brockville.

I've been here for many movies, plays and events. The inside is breath taking and the BAC brings wonderful events and artists to town. It's a true gem.

The former island has a storied history as a place to treat cholera, defensive purposes and a railway role, all before its present use as a harbour and parkland. An old Golden Hawk CF-86 Sabre jet is on display, paying homage to allied forces.

Great waterfront beach with life guards, picnic pavillions for those family reunions, washrooms, a snack bar, a playground for the kids....

I like the less is more principle when it comes to museums: give several kernels of data on a topic only ie do not inundate people with information overload. Industry and commerce can be dry and dusty topics but not when just an overview is presented. The concept also worked with the local citizens highlighted in another room. The second floor segment on local artists was nice. The city's connection to the water was highlighted with the rowing exhibition. Admission is a bit different. You are asked for a donation. Don't know if the museum comes out further ahead than with a fixed rate. There is a bit of history as well of the Isaac Beecher House itself, the home of the museum.

This Royal Canadian Air Force plane is on Blockhouse Island. You can get good views of it from Hardy Park too. What struck me was its relative smallness, quite apart from the colour scheme.

::: CENTEEN Park is a very popular park in the east end of Brockville, as it has been for many years. The site is well looked after by the City, and regularly plays host to many local and visiting scuba divers and young swimmers.
-- Being next to deep water, the shoreline can dock large ships and the grounds can host special events in the summer season.
-- The little building in the park is a municipal sewage pumping station.

Great fun, I always use ear plugs as it’s really loud. My husband loves to go, nice that it doesn’t cost too much. Food could be better, and they should sell beer.
