We ride the trail all the time, there are several easy access parking lots along the trail that let you ride the whole thing or what ever section you prefer.

There are many activities at this park for team sports and for tennis or soccer. There is lighting for playing in the evening and it is well lit for walks.

A great little community focused museum, operated by people with a lot of passion for Port Coquitlam! They have rotating exhibits so there is always something new, and ongoing programming throughout the year.

This is a great little place to go for a stroll, we came here on a rainy day. Next time will stay a little longer, so that we can enjoy the sites & sounds.

located beyond the east side of Blakeburn park and school, this is a new walk created around 2 small marshes with lots of wildlife, small docks allow a closer view of the waterfowl and is a great figure eight walking route.
Note, This is a nice spot for the local community but not a drive worthy designation

Adjacent City Hall at the corner of Shaugnessy and Mcallister. Sit, catch your breath, meditate on life for a moment before getting on with things. AND, remember why this is named after our veterans, and take a moment to look at the cenotaph. Better yet, come by on 11 November.

I took my girlfriend here as I wanted to show her a part of my childhood as I spent a lot of it at Hyde Creek. About an hour into us being in the lap pool, we noticed a middle-aged East Asian woman filming us with her cellphone. We were confused but assumed that she was just filming her child. However, when we looked back we noticed she was staring directly at us and pointing her camera on us (we were in the only ones in the lap pool as her child had gotten out). We grew uncomfortable and decided to leave. As we were getting out of the pool, a supervisor approached us and basically told us that because my girlfriend and I had been kissing, the woman complained that we were being "inappropriate". The supervisor said she personally did not find us to be inappropriate at all, as literally all we were doing was kissing on the lips and cheeks every once in a while (we were not making-out or doing anything remotely sexual) as most couples do in public spaces. Though the supervisor herself was understanding and apologetic, our experience was soured by this woman who invaded our privacy and took a video of us without our consent. Afterwords, we tried looking for the woman to ask her to delete the footage, but we could not find her. It is unfortunate that Hyde Creek is apparently intolerant to couples being affectionate.
