What travellers are saying
- SadieB088Vancouver Island, Canada39 contributionsThis surely must be one of the best, longest beach walks in Canada. The huge Douglas fir, spruce and cedar trees of the Park are amazing and right beside the beach. Excellent campground as well like all BC provincial parks.Written April 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- mexicanbound5trail, BC305 contributionsBeautiful city park with a great playground for kids. There is a nice boardwalk along the beach. At one end there is an area where people have built inukshuksWritten October 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jmac5 contributionsCute little place to stop and see cows, sheep, goats and bunnies. The automatic milking system is interesting and the gift shop has lots of cool stuff and yummy goodies. Good for a 30 min to 1 hr stop.Written May 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Wendy V5 contributionsGood beer and pizza. enjoyed a flight and a pizza with my family. It was very busy and hard to get a table though and service could be a bit friendlier.Written March 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- qualicumgirlQualicum Beach, Canada302 contributionsWhen we bring our grandkids to this place minutes from home tucked behind the Morningstar Golf Course, we head straight for the cows. Contented? Never have cows been better cared for. Even an R2D2 type robot moves around keeping things spotless. Visit the animals in the field or the rabbits in their barn, or the chickens roaming everywhere. Sit on the real tractors. Have a picnic in a beautiful shady spot. Or have a coffee or ice cream. Shop for cheese and other delicacies in the deli. Our grandkids love the toy store on a farm theme. All our gifts for friends are bought there. All are specially chosen. It’s all COVID careful. Never visit the area with kids without checking this out.Written July 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ron WRed Deer, Alberta, Canada3 contributionsGreat place to visit. Music featuring local artists every Sunday, 1-3pm. Bring your lawn chair. Admission by donation. Yesterday G Willy was awesome. Open for visits and tours Thursday to Sunday 10-4.Written July 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Harold WVictoria, Canada1,598 contributionsWe stopped by to ask a few questions about what is good to see in the Parksville area. The young lady at the counter was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable. If you have questions this is the place to get some back ground info. If they don't know, they can find. Ask away.Written July 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Linda CSan Francisco, CA16 contributionsLove Eat Fresh, buy all our meat and veggies - excellent.
Stay away from the bakery counter's chicken pot pies and beef pies. They were once excellent, however the recipe has changed to all primarily potatoes and a few (2) pieces of meat. Pastry still good.Written September 15, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - gordyjohns2 contributionsI could barely move I was so tight before I went to see Karen. Honestly, the best massage I’ve ever had in my life!!! She has soothing, healing hands, and knows exactly how to give a deep massage to loosen your body up with Thai Yoga Massage. Also, she’s incredibly kind and a great conservationist. I highly recommend her and I found it very affordable. You won’t be disappointed!!!Written December 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

We need more places like this in the world that make the world a safer and better place for all. Really inspiring!Written October 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - reexcityVancouver, Canada38 contributionsA lovely, family-friendly tour led by Gary, who's been living on the island for 40 years! We did the "Salish Sea Tide Pool" tour that was just the right pace and length for my family of four that includes a 7 and 4 year old. Would recommend this tour as the spot Gary took us to seemed other-wordly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Gary for your patience and calmness and for showing us all the wonderous creatures we saw along the way.Written August 31, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
