Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!
Lovely boat to be on while enjoying the sights and information that Captain Wes provided. Wes treated us like welcomed family members. His pride in the environment is apparent as he shares his personal history and experiences. Wes respected the distance required between the boat and the many whales that we saw.
Looking forward to sailing with Captain Wes again in the near future.

A lovely, family-friendly tour led by Gary, who's been living on the island for 40 years! We did the "Salish Sea Tide Pool" tour that was just the right pace and length for my family of four that includes a 7 and 4 year old. Would recommend this tour as the spot Gary took us to seemed other-wordly. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Gary for your patience and calmness and for showing us all the wonderous creatures we saw along the way.

Such a great experience! I would highly recommend Kim for a fishing tour. We brought in nine fish. She was highly knowledgeable about the local waters and fish we were catching. Made some memories for my 7 and 17 year old that we won’t soon forget.

Had a wonderful day on the water. Bill is very knowledgeable and did his best to help us catch a chinook and a coho. Bill is an amazing tour guide, fisherman and story teller. We highly recommend booking with Bill. Thanks again. We had a great day that we’ll never forget!

Stopped in for a sampling…ended up with a mini-tour and an explanation of how to make vodka and gin!

If you like either or both, you’ll end up with at least one bottle - quality product.

We stayed at Tigh-Na-Mara. Peter came to meet us at the beach and taught my 11 year old daughter to skimboard. He was very patient and was a great teacher. She was skim boarding after only about 30 minutes of instruction. My 3 year old kept trying to interrupt and Peter was great with him. It was a great experience and my daughter had a lot of fun.

The Desolation Sound Marine Provincial Park 4 days tour was unforgettable. Captain Wes is extremely experienced and really knows what he’s doing. His wealth of knowledge to the area has made this trip very interesting. He really loves his beautiful boat. Respected privacy, very attentive and very responsive to what he saw we liked. He was very accommodating and eager to make anything that made us happy. Katie is a fantastic cook and all her food is organic from her amazing garden. It was a wonderful experience swimming in the warm clear waters of the park ocean and lakes, exploring water falls and beach dinghies on little islands, anchoring for the night in beautiful protected calm bays with stunning views. It was fun to stop at Refuge Cove for dinner and shop in Lund. The wildlife we saw was fantastic, from killer whales right next to the boat and majestic eagles right down to colourful star fishes, seals and sea lions. Cougars, bears and wolves are present in the forests. The selection of music Wes chose to play captured the spirit of the Desolation Sounds majestic scenery and was so very inspiring. Bellissimo! A truly beautiful trip.
