- MadshusCanberra, Australia1,362 contributionsWe were fortunate to strike this resort during a powder day. But so did everyone else from Nelson. It was busy on the lifts at the start of the day but given the extensive terrain there was no crowds. Being a Saturday it was hectic at the lodge but the food was terrific!Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Caroline and Ri... N17 contributionsThe hike was considerably harder than we imagined. The path was rocky and at times quite steep. However the end result was phenomenal. The view of Nelson and landscape was spectacular. We would highly recommend this venture.Written September 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Reeree767Harlingen, TX24 contributionsWe were looking for information on Rail Trailways in the area. The associate was super helpful, providing maps and personal accounts of the trails on the area. We were also concerned about parking our RV while we went to lunch and they were very accommodating about that.Written September 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bikingmomCleveland, OH737 contributionsWe love to check out the local breweries when we get to a new town and this one fits the bill. The beer was delicious, the service friendly and attentive. They even had some games for people to use. There is food available, but we can’t comment on that. - SnapSter56Salt Lake City, UT26 contributionsIf I could leave 10 Stars I would. This is by far the best snow-cat lodge in North America if not the world! the Staff is amazing, the Terrian is next level, the Food is 5-star and the whole vibe /atmosphere of the lodge is nothing but Cool!
When it comes to the guides and mountain safety staff, they take it very serious and are extremely knowledgeable ( I have been to most places in the world for comparison AK, Chile, UT, WY, Japan, NZ, etc). The only advice is start now trying to get a spot, they sell out way in advance .Written February 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's a pretty cool museum and art gallery to visit and kill about an hour of your time in Nelson. I learned a little bit more about my area of the Kootenays and I would highly recommend this place to friends.Written November 22, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michelle PCalgary, Canada335 contributionsCottonwood Falls Park is a hidden gem. After walking down historic Baker Street we continued another 8 minutes to the park. It was very peaceful with the rushing water at the falls and Japanese garden. We visited in early May and some of the Magnolias and flowering trees were blooming. The tree colours will probably be beautiful in the fall as well. There was a parking lot but it was closed for construction when we visited.Written May 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SkwikiBurnaby, Canada1,786 contributionsThe station wasn't far from our hotel and since we had watched the movie Roxanne recently we wanted to drive by and take a photo. - Sabrina C8 contributionsThis address is for the Streetcar station in the Walmart/Save-on Parking Lot. We drove here and almost gave up as there was nothing to say that the streetcar actually stopped here.
Wait! As the train comes every 20 minutes or so. This is also the same attraction as the Nelson Streetcar, so don't be confused.Written August 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
