We wish that we had discovered this spot much earlier during our visit to Invermere, as we would have used it to have a picnic and enjoy the lake views that it offers. This is a great place for swimming, suntanning, picnicing, or just plain hanging out.

We were driving in the area and saw this gem. The Dilly food truck was so delicious!! We had donair salads with Tzatziki sauce. The salad was refreshing and we loved the pickled onions. The staff was super friendly. The beer was just as tasty. I had the raspberry wheat ale. It was fruity and refreshing. The staff was awesome as well. We would definitely come back!

We (2 adults, 2 teens) had a very fun adventure traveling to the top of Swansea Mountain. We found Swansea Mountain Rd access off of Windermere Loop Road and began the climb. We were in a 4x4 vehicle, which is *required* if you're driving to the parking spot up top. We had our sights set on driving to the top, which was half of the adventure! The road is solid, but definitely has sizeable potholes, grooves and bumps. The hike from the upper parking to the summit is short but steep. Any level of hiking experience can do it. The views from the top are fantastic and worth the drive/climb. Note: do your best not to ride the brakes all the way back down. Downshift and take your time. Very fun adventurous drive, fun (short) hike, beautiful views.

Great trail for cycling or walking. Now paved the entire way. The north section is hilly, the south section is flatter. Great views. Benches for resting and a couple of picnic tables. Not crowded, even in summer. Remember: this trail crosses private land with some free range cattle so you cannot bring a dog.

This museum consists of ten historic buildings assembled from the area. The largest, the main building, was formerly a train station and the smallest is an ice house. The tour is self guided and there are thousands of artefacts and information boards which give a good idea of what life was like for pioneers in the area. There is one display which pays homage to the Indigenous people of the area and I would like to see more from their perspective.

There was a special showing of artwork by the Blavin family, including beautiful glass works and B&W Photos by Ryan, colourful paintings by his father Hal, and also painted historical B&W Photography by his grandfather.
Great stuff and we really enjoyed our visit to this peaceful spot.

We loved browsing this gallery. There are many collections by local artists, who frequently appear to create in the gallery and/or talk to visitors. The glass bowls, paintings, jewelry and other items are gorgeous. The gallery staff are quite approachable and helpful too.

No admission. Nicely laid out. Lots of vendors. I especially liked the young woman who sold essential oils and the lemonade stand is good but wish they’d purée the fruit. There was lots of delicious fruit in my lemonade but it kept getting stuck in the straw!! Also the people who make liquors were pretty nice. The blue gin is tasty! Fun little market though. Check it out!

This trail was simply outstanding. Very well laid out and a great ride with e-bikes. There are some steep hills, so the extra power really helped. This is a must do event, with couples, families, and or friends.

Offleash dog park along road to Panorama. Lots of parking. Good signage. Large scenic fenced area. Occasional tables and poop bags, portapot in parking lot.

Did this trip with my husband and 13 yr old daughter. None of us are experienced paddlers, so they were a little worried about a 4 hr trip! The time flew by. Our guide, Chris, was wonderful. Our group was small and well looked after. Chris coached us on any specifics we needed to get the best and safest paddling experience, and he also taught us about the environment along the way. It was awesome for everyone - kids and adults. The equipment was in great condition. The most amazing thing was the scenery!! We saw bald eagles and ospreys and mountains! What more could you want? Absolutely stunning, fun day.

During a week long trip to the Columbia Valley I played at Copper Point three times: once at The Point (solo) and twice at The Ridge (with friends). This was my favourite golf experience ever. To begin with, the Pro Shop staff noticed that my single booking at The Point happened to be with a group of 11 men from out of town, and Shelly rightly deduced that I (a high handicap female visitor) would have a better experience playing with people who were familiar with the course. She paired me with the nicest couple ever and I had a wonderful day. (Thank you Judy and Richard). The staff at the ball drop area are all very helpful getting you set up on your cart and showing you around (thank you Pontus) and even at the driving range, a kind member bought me some extra practice balls. That’s the kind of place this is: welcoming!

The Point is a spectacular long course in beautiful condition. It is challenging but rewarding and the scenery is beautiful. The Ridge is shorter (all par 3s and 4s) but certainly not a walkover. It’s also in great condition with beautiful views and is a very fun course to play for people like me. My friends (who are better golfers than I) all loved it too. The only reservation I have about Copper Point is that they use gas fired golf carts. Everything else was outstanding. I will definitely be returning and if I lived in the area I would become a member as soon as possible.

What a great place for our family reunion! Eagle Ranch Resort worked out perfectly for our bi-annual family golf tournament and reunion. Rooms were large, clean and quiet. The chef made us amazing food. I wish I had taken pictures of our meals. Even though I had never golfed before, it was so much fun doing a best ball scramble-type tournament with my much better golfing relatives. We lucked out with weather on a September weekend and got to be outdoors a lot enjoying the patio with heat lamps and the beautifully landscaped, newly opened propane fire pits. There were lots of lovely spots to take family photos too. The best part was it was steps away for everything and the staff was friendly and made our event easy and enjoyable.
