Still thinking about the adrenaline rush while reeling in my Spring salmon. Curtis is a top notch guide. Thanks so much!

Fishing with Rick is great. Went out in early May, still cool but the boat is heated and very comfortable. Rick is knowledgeable about the fishing and a great guide. We also had a bonus setting traps for prawns which made a really nice addition to our dinner. Rick will give you tips as you fight the fish so you are comfortable handling what is likely the biggest fish of your life.
    We had a fantastic day.

We spent a wonderful day fishing with Chris. He is a knowledgeable, experienced guide who works very hard to make your trip memorable. We caught lots of fish, saw some humpback whales and enjoyed the spectacular scenery. I can’t think of a better way to experience and appreciate BC!

The sea was rough. I'm a lousy sailor yet I had a great day.
    The bot was immaculate.
The skipper, Laurel was an excellent guide and we bagged some fabulous chinook salmon.
    Highly recommended.

Finally after 3 years (Covid) we did our trip at 50North Adventures. We did a lot of "homework" before choosing whom we were going to do the Whales trip with. Well It was awesome! We saw the Whales! Dean is an excellent "driver". His boat is very nice and you can see he loves and respect the whales! Not a boot full of people and that was what we wanted! If you want an excellent guide, not many people on the tour than you have to go with Dean! Thanks Joep and Chantal

Fishing is always a great way to spend a bit of money and have a lot of fun. Ray managed to find us a few fish to take home and we were lucky enough to see some whales some sea lions and a couple seals. The boat is well equipped and he communicated with other guides to find out what was happening in different areas to try and up the game on us landing at keeper.. I would recommend him as a great way to spend a day on the water in Campbell River

Exceeded expectations once again! You will not find a better guide in Campbell River. Gary always tailors the trip to what you are looking for. We extended our trip to 3 days this year and we were in the fish all 3 days. Each day was better than the first. Gary makes every day a great one on the water and we are so grateful we have been able to go out with him over the last several years. This year he recommended we take a fresh catch to the Riptide to be prepared by the chef. It was an amazing meal. We are looking for to next year. Many Thanks J&K W

Our guide, Quinn at Full Scale Fishing Adventures was AWESOME!
His knowledge of the waters off Campbell River, specifically the Quadra Island “Horn” (where all the charters salmon fish) was exceptional.
The vessel was a brand new “Raider” manufactured 28ft boat with sitting for (4) comfortably in a heated cabin. Great for those chilly early morning charters.
    And, yes we caught salmon!
Highly recommend Quinn for your next/first salmon fishing adventure!
    Great job, Quinn

Wow. We weren’t too sure what to expect but we were all blown away by Mark and this experience. He took us, a group of 10 (4 seniors, 3 adults, and 3 kids aged 13, 11, and 7) with ease. We took three boats in total and Mark and his team (Travis and Russel) were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuine—everything you want and need in a guide + more!!! Mark made a fan for life in my 7 year old nephew with many laughs, good times, and fun had by all.

We were fishing for Salmon, Mark showed us a Dogfish (small shark) which was a big winner with the kids.

Thank you so much Mark—the way you could tailor the experience to suit a 7 year old, a 68 year old, and everyone in between was just incredible.

Can’t recommend this experience enough. If I could give six stars I would. BEST. EXPERIENCE. EVER.

Calvin is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide who also has a great sense of humour (and patience). He knows where to find the fish. My family had a great day under sunny skies off of Campbell River- got to see some humpbacks and porpoises along the way too. Truly memorable and highly recommended adventure thanks to a great guide! We’ll definitely be back.

We had a great 8 hour day out with Brant salmon fishing. The weather cooperated as did the salmon! Caught chums and coho's and lost a few too. Released the wild coho's as per the regulations. Didn't manage to keep our limit but Brant definately did his part! Brant shared our passion for fishing and was just plain enjoyable to be with. We would definately recommend him and give him five out of five stars!

Decided to take a walk along the pier on a beautiful sunny afternoon whilst staying in Campbell River. It was at the weekend and in the car park was a lovely market full of local produce and crafts. After strolling around the stalls we decided to take a walk along the pier, stopping off at the cafe to buy a fabulous ice cream cone. Its a lovely old fashioned wooden pier with great views out to sea. We visited during the Humpback Whale season and you could watch their waterspouts and the tour boats rushing out to view the whales from the pier. As you walk along there are a lot of fishing seats along the pier many with plaques on them and it was very interesting to read all of the dedications. It is a popular spot for fishermen, and they were all very happy to have a chat and talk of the ones that got away. A lovely spot on a sunny day to have a walk and while away a couple of hours

Went out tonight with Cory Mullin of Black Beard Fishing Charter out of Campbell River. I can't recommend this guy enough!! He put us onto enough fish that my shoulder surgery is completely justified. And when the fish weren't biting he kept us entertained and laughing. If you're looking for your money's worth Black Beard Charters is worth every penny!

What a great day on the water! I wanted take my two boys for a day of salmon fishing and Gene made the day fantastic. Gene's incredibly knowledge and personable nature was exactly what I had hoped for going in. Can't wait to do it again!

Scott is a great captain who makes the day enjoyable and knows how to find the fish. Boat and fishing gear were clean and solid. Scott was personable and worked hard to find and land fish. We caught our limit of salmon and had a memorable day on the water.
