- Mo DevPickering, Canada1 contributionClean and well maintained facility. Washrooms were clean and kept well.

Though its not marked, this is where the Gordon Lightfoot Garden is so hit the trail and you'll walk right into it.Written June 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HildetorontoToronto Ontario274 contributionsWhether or not you're a fan of Leacock and his writing, this historical home is worth a visit. The furnishings, the artifacts, the libraries, and his writings are all on display. There are even secret hidden rooms in the walls where Leacock stashed some of his work and his liquor. We were give a tour by Brittany who was very knowledgeable and did a fabulous job describing everything, and answering questions. Amazing how the wealthy lived back in the day. This house is definitely worth a visit and admission is a bargain at $5.Written April 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - b0b55russellOrillia, Canada1,262 contributionsIt has been a number of years since I have been here. They always do a good job in their research plus giving a good overview of what the OPP has done over the years. I personally know several people that have made donations to the OPP museum via my membership within the OPPVA. Free admission but you need to show I,D. to get a name tag to tour this part of the building. Things have changed here from a security perspective sibce 9/11. Lot's of free give aways too which will add to enjoyment in visiting the OPP museum. Keep up the good work here as it truly a positive experience here!Written March 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Valerie FMarkham, Canada354 contributionsMy husband and I visited for the first time. We had a personal tour. Chris, our guide, has a vast knowledge regarding the creatures in the exhibits and it was obvious that the staff care deeply about their work with the animals. Many of the creatures are endangered and the centre is doing some important outreach and educational work. I was previously unaware how many of these creatures live in southern Ontario and Canada. We had the option of holding some of the snakes and other creatures but preferred to view them only. Would return.Written August 29, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sarahnaidListowel, Canada393 contributionsI have given this a 4 star review but it really deserves a 4.5. From the moment we pulled it up with our pass and staff came to greet up, we were pleased with our experience here. It wasn’t the day we had anticipated as the wind made for choppy water that we didn’t want to swim in or boat on, yet still we had enough to do. The staff at the store pointed us to the trail, which was perfect for us. We stopped along the way to enjoy our picnic. My reason for not giving it five stars was slightly confusing signage for leaving the park and on the hiking trail. I would come back again and recommend it to others,Written July 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trek74707616 contributionsNext week, they move into a cozier warm environment pre Christmas. This past weekend was in the arena - a little dismal at first upon entry. Soon to be celebrated: Muskoka Lamb, Severn Sunset - fabulous chilly, excellent quality of foods. The sour dough bread was outstanding, stencils fo Xmas are coming. We purchased fresh greens, beets, bread, cheese and foods for a fabulous Sunday night dinner. Thanks to the farmers and vendors who are there for us throughout the year! Looking forward to the cozier environment next weekend. We’ll be back!Written November 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Close to downtown where there are many shops, and most weekends in the Summer there are street stalls and shows. The marina facilities are modern, but it is only for transients, so has no gas, pump-out or repairs on site.Written August 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hmswarspite2017Barrie, Canada244 contributionsBest place to stay and see a concert. 5000 person venue with a relaxing drive north. - Jay HToronto, Canada144 contributionsWe have spent the last three Christmas time at Guardian Angels Church, when we stay at The Fern Resort. The mass is good although the priest doing the sermon is a bit difficult to understand, Christmas Eve mass has been very quiet, the last two years and the priests are very nice, it is nice speaking to them after mass on Christmas.Written May 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TheCanuck85London, Ontario, Canada103 contributionsWe were on a family trip near Midland and decided to take a drive to Orillia to the antique store. I found the lamps I've been searching for and I couldn't be happier.
Very clean, bright space with lots of interesting items. Recommend setting aside at least an hour to go through if you want to see everything.Written September 1, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However I ended up talking on one of its dedicated members in the parking lot. They are doing better than most other Legions as it has a membership of between 1,200 to 1,300 active members the majority being associate members in good standing. For 10 dollars I bought a hat pin dedicated to Cdn. First Nations soldiers. Great talking to this Legion member of mature years as he made it worth while dropping by despite being closed.Written March 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Erez ZToronto, Canada593 contributionsExcellent brewery restaurant in Orillia.
Not to be mistaken as a pub / bar this brewery is serving some seriously fresh and tasty dishes.
From the fresh smash burgers to the jerk chicken sandwich to the best oysters on the strip.
Not a huge menu but perfect to feed you right. They do have a kids menu and pur kids were very happy with the burger and pasta options.
Beer is excellent with over 12 on tap and they have an excellent wine collection.
They also have one of the better patios on the strip.
Congratulations on bringing Orillia a great new restaurant.Written September 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
