The falls are off the beaten track but the road to the falls ends in a parking lot which is very close to the breathtaking falls, no long arduous hike required to get to the falls, unlike some falls in New Brunswick.

Our flight from Bathurst was cancelled so we took a taxi there. It is amazingly beautiful and peaceful. There are toilets. All the trails are well marked. There are excellent information signs everywhere about the animals, birds, and plants/trees. We saw chickadee, and red squirrels plus some amazing dragonfly. Sadly we didn’t see waders or any other wildlife. However it was a great way to spend 2-3 hours

Lovely quiet day with only two guys fishing down by the rock to make me use Photoshop to take them out but beautiful scenery. Love the mikmak heritage being visible in the acadian peninsula.

Lots of activites in the evenings from concerts, bands, karaoke and so much more. Lots of quaint shops, an amazing ice cream parlour, and even a high end restaurant on site. The tower offers great viewpoints of the town. Definitely a must stop when in town.

Nice beach. Have to be careful where you swim though because of the extremely strong channel currents. Tried some mackerel fishing but did not even get a single bite. Overall not a bad time though, sandy dunes were nice.

A nice walk along the river from Red Brook to Pabineau Falls. Awesome view of the falls from the ledge.

Dropped in to have a local craft beer and had a great visit and chat with the owner and head brewer. Enjoyed a great visit and sampling of delicious local craft brews.

Driving through Bathurst New Brunswick on our vacation and decided to drop in to one of the local craft breweries. This is a beautiful establishment across from the water with a great variety of refreshments with a helpful and friendly staff.

While I can't say this town has the most fascinating history in the north, it makes a good effort to present the various cultures in the area's past. The staff was helpful but my guide did tend to bang on and digress into supposedly humorous anecdotes about her family members.

This is a good spot that we stopped at with our dog. The area had a fence around the edge so we did not see a way to get down. The views from the top were still nice and there was a nice little walking trail we went down to see if down but it didn't seem to. The spot was clean and had a garbage can to dispose of any trash.

We enjoyed the array of art and decorative pieces. We were there in July and they had marked a lot of pieces down so we felt this was a good time to shop there. They still had plenty of wonderful items and the prices were right.

Very old and musty, just what you would expect from something going back to World War 1. The staff was very helpful and some of the senior Legion members can down to answer questions. A lot of great photos and memorabilia. Well worth the visit. Easy to find and lots of free parking.

This is a small Information Center located on the Promenade. When we went, there were 3-4 staff to advise visitors and answer questions. We got great suggestions from a staff who obviously knew what to do and where to go in and around Bathurst. Her suggestions led to fun stops all the way to Miscou, and great little bakeries to stop along the way. It came with maps and brochures to read along the way. Thanks for being such great help on our trip in Bathurst and around !
