This fantastic little museum offers so much more than its unassuming exterior suggests. The current exhibition about the lumber industry in and around Ladysmith is really well presented and with some fascinating video footage of the various stages of the lumber process. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful and secluded plus easy access. A mature forested hike on well maintained trails to a large babbling creek and gorgeous waterfalls. Flora and fauna galore. Your reward will be finding the Coffee Shack for mid-hike refreshments!

A nice hike up to a lovely waterfall. Not too busy or intense. Can do in an hour. Had trouble finding the trail head. Drive right by it at first.

This is a wonderful place to visit. Beautifully displayed and well organized to get anyone excited to get back in their own kitchen. Extremely friendly with great advice on anything you may need or just interested in trying. This will definately be on my list of places to visit again on my next trip and if I’m in need of anything to help me in my kitchen I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Kamal. He knows his stuff. I also found the prices very reasonable. I love this store. Thanks Kamal.

Nice small park with sculptured sandstone features ... the trail is easily managed by seniors, although can be a bit muddy in spots in the spring. The view is great ... peaceful and serene.

As a lover of alpacas, I loved the Yellow Point farms! They are number eight on the summer tour around Cedar and Yellow Point. The alpacas are very cute and they were very welcoming! They checked us out when we came to look at them. They weren't comfortable being patted but weren't shy otherwise. Make sure to book by appointment if you want to look in the gift shop. They have toques and scarves made from alpaca wool. Also a great view looking onto the ocean.

Am absolutely must to visit, we did it on the way back to Comox Airport. Her pottery is AMAZING and Mary is inspirational and was more than happy to share her knowledge and expertise. Just wish we could have taken more back with us.

We love to walk the docks here, or take the trail that leads to transfer park, see the bear carved in the rocks, or find the star carved in rock as well.

Trail was easy to follow and there were some great views on the way up. The best part was diving into a cool lake at the end of hike. Bring swimming suit, u don't want that feeling of wet suit on way down. Take the time to dry off then back down u go.👍👍

Even members of the family who groan about seeing “historic” things love this place!
This historic building is absolutely stuffed to the gills with bits and bobs - going through it feels like treasure hunting, and everyone in my family gets super into it. The owner (?) is very into his job, and for .50c he runs the beautiful old turn of the century music players, or the Charlie Chaplin reel box (this has never failed to impress!)

I was impressed with all they had to show, share and sell. When the parking lot is full with the water truck (they also sell water) and many other autos haphazardly parked by workers--I was the only "customer"--it can be quite difficult to get back to the main road. But worth the effort.
