- Isabelle DoyleSainte-Adele, Canada134 contributionsWe had issues booking a site for many years and now my husband and I understand why. This park offers everything a nature lover seeks: hiking, kayaking, swimming and very spacious sites! All facilities are clean but be careful of the poison ivy since it is found on many trails and around camping sites.
The beaches are spectacular and we found that most areas are pet friendly. We had no issues with noise and slept soundly. Upon our arrival, we were very happy to see a park restaurant where they served the best hotdogs. I kid you not! My husband had the chicken tenders and he liked them as well. I think everything from their menu would be winners.Written July 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It gets quite busy on nice days so go early -(10:00 am or before)Written September 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melissa F4 contributionsNice views of lake, would be great spot for sunset pics. Other side of street also has view of bay.Written August 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Roch65Ottawa, Canada143 contributionsThis was my first time at Point Petre and it did not disappoint. The pebble beach is located on lake Ontario and the sight and sound of the waves crashing into the pebble beach and the rocks was a beautiful sight to see. We did not see any signs for Point Petre. We drove to the end of Army Road where there was a patch of grass where we parked. We could hear the sounds of the waves from here. We walked the short distance along a short dirt road until we got to the water.Written August 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter GWhitby, Canada66 contributionsNice conservation are just south of Picton.
A mixture of trails when it comes to levels of difficulty.
Only problem is they charge for parking...in nature !!Written October 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Worth the extra 10 minute drive.Written October 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Randy MOntario, Canada69 contributionsWant to get out of your car and breathe some air,get away from crowds, throw a ball, park an overnight RV, launch a boat (on a good concrete ramp) with a finger dock, run the dog, have a picnic lunch, cast a worm with your kids and catch some perch, get a sun tan on the grass, go for a swim, play cards or read a book in the open shelter. I go here all the time in the middle of summer. Under-utilized place thats waiting for you.Written August 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
