- Heather KowalskyOwen Sound, Canada7 contributionsThis is an Ontario gem….the sand beaches and dunes are incredible. The park attendant was so welcoming…not sure of his name but thank you for the warm welcome and information. It’s hard to believe this is in OntarioWritten May 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ChaitanyaCambridge, Canada923 contributionsNice Lookout point with lovely views. Is very beautiful in the summer as well as winter.
The access to the lake right there is great, it has a small parking area and is a great spot for picnics.Written March 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Heather KowalskyOwen Sound, Canada7 contributionsNew owners…Great vibe…a must on your list in Picton.
The team is so friendly, the atmosphere is fun and the wine is yummy. The patio extends from the winery to the grass to covered shelters. There is a warm fire going and unique wood seats to enjoy. The fire wood pizza is scrumptious as it’s made with local ingredients. Wine is reasonably priced…my only regret…didn’t get enough but we can order it online. We stayed at the bnb loft which had great views and very cozy.
A big shout out to this amazing family on their wonderful new start.Written May 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ChaitanyaCambridge, Canada923 contributionsThe wines we tasted were decent. They had a good pinot gris and cabaret franc - good red wines. The host was polite and had a deadpan style of sarcasm which made the tastings fun.
Tastings are free with wine purchase.Written March 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Bob HMississauga, Canada17,997 contributionsWe went there with our friends and tried their beer sampling. I am not a beer lover but I must say that I was impressed on how tasty the beer was. They even provide popcorn. Tables had games that you could play while sampling. Well worth a visit...Written December 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- FirerunnerPicton, Canada27 contributionsSmall shop, good variety of good craft brews and an nice but small informal patio with a great food truck (in season). Right now, during covid lockdown, a great deal on flat of 24.Written February 1, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ChaitanyaCambridge, Canada923 contributionsVisited here for a tasting and they had amazing wine and cheese pairings.
Their progression wine was one of our favourites and the cheeses were very good and tasyWritten March 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - 148carolinemcnCobourg, Canada114 contributionsPicton is the place to be. Great vibes, quaint streets with interesting and artsy businesses. The Regent has 400 seats which were filled to capacity for the live show we attended. Refreshments available including alcohol and very relaxed about taking food and drinks into the theatre. Great sound and visibility from every seat. A really pleasant community-minded spot which hosts all kinds of great events.Written February 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- MaraFromTorontoToronto, Canada3,665 contributionsThis winery has a relatively small tasting room, and only pours a few of their many wines at a time, so we had a bit of a limited experience. Having said that, some of their wines have won significant awards, and are excellent. We would have loved a more extensive tasting experience for sure to have enjoyed more!Written June 9, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kim WWorld2 contributionsChris’s tour was hands down one of the best experiences we have had to date. His knowledge of the county, the businesses and the people made the experience so much more intimate and educational.
Every location we visited knew Chris personally and created a unique experience and engagement with the key players. He also provided us with a guided tasting at each location that highlighted their best offering.
We had an amazing time! Anyone looking for a tour of the county Chris is your guy!Written May 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Sara1 contributionMy partner surprised me with a private tour... to propose! Brent and Moira were unaware of this, but they truly made the experience. The were our photographer/videographer and just happened to have a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbles which was icing on the cake for newly expecting me. The tour was exciting and informative and they were able to take a smooth route back when my morning sickness kicked in. They were incredibly friendly and entertaining hosts and Mickey was an amazing safety officer. It was a very memorable experience and we would absolutely recommend to friends and groups.Written November 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- HikerOntarioOntario21 contributionsThis was a very challenging “find the money” experience. Set in a museum with authentic artifacts and created around a true life person made this quite special.
The clues are tough and it is easy to get confused. Thankfully Jane would suddenly appear and make a little comment to help out a bit. Like telling us when we were struggling with a key, she remembers a previous servant who always recited a little ditty about pushing before pulling when trying to open a lock.
We didn’t win but we had lots of laughs, some frustrations, and learned a few interesting about the MacAulay House.Written October 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Melanie Hazell1 contributionIt was wonderful to spend a few hours with Phil discovering an interesting variety of artisans, artists, cheese makers, brewers and County characters. Phil has a relaxed, quite vigilant style and is a wealth of information. He is open, warm and has a lovely sense of humour. I really appreciated his intelligent commentary and openness. Big thanks, Phil.Written March 9, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
