Easy to find starting point. Tour drive was great, punctuality was spot on. Enough time to walk around the different places and take pictures. During the ride, Clive had loads of different stories to tell. Day well spent.
Easy to find it, nice car park. Beach amazing .close to leisure center where is coffee shop , that is not 5 star but for emergency coffee enough! Beach amazing
This tour is a fun way to see the major sites of North Wales up close. We had lots of time to explore each site, and the bus ride was both scenic and comfortable. The activities are suitable for anyone.
Our tour guide was Frank, and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining!! I would definitely recommend and hope to try some of the other excursions.
Very informative on the history of medicine, fun history details. Would have been better if the interactive screens worked for the autopsy section, and toilet.
This is the second treasure hunt we've done, having enjoyed the Manchester one previously. Great experiences are built around consistency and that's exactly what we got in Chester. The clues and format are so engaging and it's a great way for all ages to explore and learn about the city your visiting. Like all great ideas the premise is simple and left us with a smile on our faces. Really well thought out with recommendations for somewhere to eat along the way. Looking forward to other weekends away so we can enjoy another treasure hunt adventure.
My daughter and I did a Medieval walking tour of Chester with Thomas as our guide. It was brilliant - Thomas really brought to life the role that Chester played in the events of the time. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We'd thoroughly recommend the tour to other visitors.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this little ghost tour. Something you can do at your own pace but it took us just over an hour and that was at a casual pace. It's amazing that you can be directed round the route and it knows when to give the info and even tells you that you are off the route (even though I wasn't but hey, the lost function is there). It would be good if more sites could be added, I'm sure there are lots of spooky goings on in Chester. We definitely recommend this tour and suggest using headphones due to the traffic /town noise.
The information about the digs that happened at this site was very well displayed . and I liked the two roman soldiers - I found the information given very informative.
We saw the soldier taking a group of school children out for a march, all of the children were really engaged and loved it.
Fantastic presentation of the roman soldier , he answered all of our questions and knew all his facts, I would recommend to any family or oldies like us, we learnt a lot Thanks
We got a bit lost on the first 4 points of interest - we felt some verbal directions at the start of each dialogue would have been helpful, together with a photo of what you should be looking at! The commentary & delivery were informative but dull with the narrator showing very little enthusiasm. Might be a good idea to mention where toilets are!
Otherwise, the system was easy to use, cheap to purchase & was as described. I had a question - emailed the providers & received a courteous response straightaway.
Acess is available for 3 weeks so we have a chance to go over it again.
Busybus canceled at the last minute. I have seen other reviews that say the same thing. They were rude and couldn’t understand why I was upset waiting at the terminal (with others who were in the same position) with nothing to do
We paid £8 per person for a guide to take us around Chester it started at the town hall and we visited the Rows the Eastgate clock the ruined pillars built on the bedrock, the vaulted cellar now in one of the local hostleries was awesome
We also did the walls. Plus a couple of other points. The guide was lovely and very knowledgeable, well worth it. 90 mins but we did over run!
