Having never previously visited, we were amazed by this stunning cathedral with its incredible ceilings, especiallywith tge mud afternoon light pouring in. The cathedral was still laid out for Christmas (it was the 2nd January) and the trees were stunning.
The older man on the welcome desk in the afternoon was kind, informative and interesting.
We really enjoyed our visit and will come again soon.

Good selection of shops and seems like it has gone through a refurbishment recently. Primark is quite handy along with sainsburys and wilko

Built between1420 and 1460 and moved to the current location in 1961 to allow roadworks, it was an interesting old house and claimed to be one of the oldest private dwellings in Devon. Worth a look as you walk down to the wharf area.

These old remains is all that is left of the chapel and homes built in 1457 for 13 poor but respectful men.
I wonder if anyone can trace their ancestry back to residents of these Almhouses.
The area was badly bombed in May 1942 and the ruins have been left as a reminder of that terrible night .

Had a walk past the three gables in Exeter on the 100th day of lockdown. Not much to say about them other than they are very old and have now been converted to shops on the ground floors. It was very quiet in town today.

This mill was one of many in Exeter, including three on the Quay, but most have gone or are in a bad state of repair. This one is working and you can buy the flour it produces. Knowlegable people explain what is happening and you can view on two floors. There are many other attractions in the area, so it's well worth a cisit.
