- Greg BWellesbourne, UK68 contributionsHaving never previously visited, we were amazed by this stunning cathedral with its incredible ceilings, especiallywith tge mud afternoon light pouring in. The cathedral was still laid out for Christmas (it was the 2nd January) and the trees were stunning.
The older man on the welcome desk in the afternoon was kind, informative and interesting.

I wonder if anyone can trace their ancestry back to residents of these Almhouses.

Not much to say about them other than they are very old and have now been converted to shops on the ground floors. This one is working and you can buy the flour it produces. Knowlegable people explain what is happening and you can view on two floors.
