Gorgeous place to walk, seeing a Spitfire overhead made the day. Advise wearing boots as very muddy! Saltmarsh cafe worth a stop either at the beginning or end of your walk

We visited Driftwood garden yesterday, short notice decision to have a day at the coast and discovered it was the last day of opening this year, how lucky were we!
We love this area but this is a real hidden gem, smiles per square foot amazing !
Beautifully presented garden, interesting quirky mix of curios, art and craft blended with the fabulous planting, not to mention the yummy cake with coffee in the cosy summer house.
Geoff was so welcoming and interesting brightening even the cloudy day we had chosen to come! Will be back next year, intend to bring some friends and can’t wait to re enjoy it on a sunny day, sure it will be even more lovely!

Absolutely stunning scenery. Long walks and perfect for the family I loved every second of walking his beautiful beautiful cliffs. You can also see the seven sisters the whole time for those are into history. There is a very sad but very honoured memorial at the end near where the sea Meets the land. The fisherman cottages are also a wonderful area to take a picture of the beautiful scenery. The walk will also lead you to many beautiful and interesting places along with farms and old pubs/restaurants. If you head away from Seaford and head towards Friston forest you will come across cookmere activity centre which is a lovely activity centre that offers all sorts of fun water activities including SUP boards and kayaks along with full day activities which are all done on the beautiful ox bow lake.

An excellent museum, lots of interesting stuff on local history and on technology, fascinating array of old televisions, radios, computers and other electrical appliances from 1930s onwards, shops and rooms dressed for past eras, beautifully curated, lovely views from the top too. This is well worth a visit, applicable for all ages. It's bigger than you might imagine from teh outside too!

What a beautiful little garden in the middle of our town. Can't wait to see it in its summer glory. It's like the secret garden you wanted as a kid.

Whilst visiting a very sick brother, I stayed on Seaford seafront with a magnificent view of the sea. Although the weather was horrendous and my Campervan was rocking I enjoyed the freedom of free parking.
Many thanks Seaford for making my visit more enjoyable under my sad time.
    Thank you 🙏

The Coastguard Cottages are perched on the edge of a cliff with breathtaking views of the sea and the Seven Sisters in the background. Well worth a visit to soak in the scenery and for the great photo opportunities!

Invited here for a display of his wonderful paintings by a local artist. This is a very tastefully designed venue to display great works of art.

Entrance is via a glass door and inside, the floor had been relaid and is shiny and clean. The walls are covered with many very shiny plaques including one to a V. C. winner and there is a small chapel in which there is a war memorial and stein windows to those lost in wars. The pews have been removed so the interior has a more airy feeling.

Nice, ready to find, free car park with short paths to truly beautiful views over the Cuckmere valley. If you're lucky you'll see one of the two-seat Spitfires doing it's run over the seven sisters!

We only stayed one night but enjoyed it immensely. We played 18 holes on arrival then had a 5 course evening meal, single rooms for the night, full English breakfast and the offer of another round the next day - all in the price. Great value. I think it's fair to say the clubhouse is elderly and shows some signs of wear and tear, but for a short stay nothing to complain about. Clair and her staff were all welcoming and friendly. The course was in great condition. A parkland course with gently rolling slopes and lovely (but tricky) greens. They obviously have good green keepers. Proper spacing of tee times meant we were round in 3.75 hrs as a 3 ball with no waiting or pressure from behind - the best way to play golf. The rooms are spacious and whilst a little old fashioned are very comfortable. The food was good and service was quick. A good range of drinks including 3 ales. A bonus is a dedicated snooker room with a well kept table. Breakfast is a cooked feast, really good. All in all a very enjoyable trip. Minor quibble, the rooms were quite warm ... but at least you could open the windows which is not always the case in hotels these days.

As seaside courses go, you spend 80% of the time not being able to see the sea - but that aside, it’s a great course, very hilly as you’d expect and was in good condition given the amount of rain the UK has had recently
