Huge range of items and exhibits on offer. Amazing free museum and at least 3 hours needed to see most of it. Very proud to be British and that this world class museum is free to everyone visiting London.

Amazing art that I’ve been longing to see. The biblical art really moved me and then on to the more modern artists like Van Gogh and Monet. Simply awe struck! The Georges Seurat paintings were especially dear to me and meant so much to see. I also adored the Hockney paintings. Really emotional day. Since it was a Saturday though, it was very busy and very warm inside. That’s the only thing that put a damper on the day. Go during the week.

This gallery, home to a variety of unique designs, is a great spot for spending an enjoyable time. We believe that at least two hours are needed to explore the entire museum in detail. However, we feel the interior design could be made more engaging.

A fantastic free museum/gallery. We got there in time for the highlights tour at 2pm with Ollie who was brilliant - so informative & interesting snippets about the art that we would have missed if we had walked around ourselves.

The last time I visited Tate Britain was in 2022 when I gave it one mark as very little was on view and there was a very over-dominating contemporary installation occupying the central hall making it difficult to navigate the gallery. This time it could not have been more different. Everything I wanted to see was on view and there was a fantastic (if full of coach tourists) exhibition called Now You See Us: Women Artists in Britain. I even had a nice lunch in the cafe. So while the last time I visited I wanted to leave after about an hour, this time I spent pretty much the full day enjoying the place. The only thing I would say is that the quality of the left hand side (as you enter from the Millbank side) showing the history of British art is so fantastic it makes you despair for modern art on the right hand side (with the exception of the Turner and Constable galleries of course, though of course everything was modern once. So this time I would say it is absolutely worth the short walk down from Parliament Square to visit the Tate.

I spent nearly three hours visiting this museum on a rainy Sunday. It was not crowded at all, and I really enjoyed my visit. If you have the time, the best way to explore the museum is chronologically, starting on the 3rd floor (as recommended by the helpful Museum "greeter"). The chronology begins just prior to the Tudor period and the Wars of the Roses, and continues into the early 20th Century. The artwork here is about the subjects, not the painters who portrayed them. The story of each subject is nicely told in the displays alongside each painting. Virtually every important person in Britain's history (including its colonies) is depicted. There is also a highlights tour each day, which I enjoyed.

This small museum has a wonderful collection of paintings including a number of Impressionist paintings. We enjoyed taking our time and wandering at leisure. It was not too crowded or overwhelming as some of the larger museums can be.

The building has some interesting design elements and lots of art exhibits to see. We went early on a Sunday so much of it was closed but we were still able to walk around. The building is a brutalist design from the 1980s and we enjoyed our 20 minute visit here. We would have spent more time here if the conservatory or any of the exhibits were open. There are a number of restaurants and cafes here as well. It is free to enter and the closest metro station is Moorgate.

I had the great fortune to visit Leighton House Museum today and I must say this is a gem of a find in Kensington. The house is filled with many gorgeous treasures and is fascinating in design and is a wonderful representation of a moment in time in the world of art and artists in 19th century London.

The museum is very welcoming and informative and I was very lucky to meet Anneka, a very lovely and knowledgeable guide who answered all our questions about the museum and the life and times of Frederick Leighton.

If you are looking for an interesting way to pass a few gentle hours in busy London, then I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful museum.

Even with some of the areas closed for renovation, this is one of the best museums and gardens I've visited, especially with adults and children.
The natural history and world history and culture areas were fascinating. Not too big that it takes ages, but enough detail to suit all levels. Lots of hands on activities for children, especially the musical instruments area.
It's free to enter, but you pay to go into some areas. Knowing we would return, we just paid this time for the aquarium, which was great - informative and well laid out, though didn't actually take long to go around.
The gardens are fabulous, not too far to walk around and interspersed with areas of interest for kids, like the musical garden and the animal walk (llamas, rabbits etc).
The cafe is good with seating inside and out. Not a huge choice but reasonable prices for this type of place. Be aware the kids' pizza is big - easily enough for an adult.
There's no parking, but we drove around the housing estate and found a place easily.
We will definitely return, especially when the renovated areas are open.

I never expected Saatchi gallery to be so interesting. It is not for everyone, those who don’t like modern paintings can easily skip it, but I was greatly impressed by the variety of styles, themes and bright invigorating color palette of some painters. The real revelation was the Room with the View exhibit on the second floor. The works of Aida Mahmudova are really out of the ordinary: her technique is placing natural materials (tree branches, dry leaves, various minerals, like blue and white quartz, in beautiful whimsical displays of different moods and emotions. Stunning!

Kenwood House is an art museum with a wide collections of original paintings. The house is extremely magnificent with well decorated library music room and dinning room. I particularly appreciate the extraordinary work from Vermeer
