Decided to pay a visit here on a short break to Worcester and the House and Gardens were very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were on a guided tour with our tour guide Pat, she made the visit very interesting, she was very knowledgeable and informative and she actually made our visit.

We had an unplanned visit because it was a wet day and this museum didn't disappoint.
It's a small museum but there's a lot of interesting history about the building and the people who lived there. The staff were so friendly and gave us a really warm welcome. They went the extra mile to explain the layout of the museum as well as extra information you don't necessarily get from reading the info boards. Thank you for a great visit!

We only had an afternoon in Worcester the day before a conference I was attending. I like pottery so this museum seemed like a good choice.

Very interesting and well set out. Leads you through the years and history. Audio guide free with ticket which was nice and easy to use.

We booked pottery painting and I painted a small plate which was fun. I look forward to seeing it all shiny and glazed. They can post to my home as I'm unable to collect in person.

The young lady on reception (23 April) and then helping with the painting was so nice and friendly and helpful.

Nice woodland walk, a good alternative if you don’t fancy a hike up the Malverns or the Lickeys. The chocolate crunch cake was relish. Wasteful packaging for the cakes, would be better to use paper plates instead of styrofoam boxes.

Lovely children’s park with bridge being build to cross the River Seven. The park has some interesting military history and a complicated to understand war memorial on the east side. A lovely children’s park, ponds and cycle paths make it perfect for small people. If you walk further west you get to the river Seven where you can walk down along the river in the racing grounds of pitchcroft - soon you will be able to use the new bridge to walk / ride over the river. Creat place for walking dogs, children and the like

Great grounds and plenty of interest. The RAF museum is a great bonus as was the history video on entering the main house. Having said that, the house was limited in its link to the Earl of Coventry family, compared to other NT houses, and the lack of furniture etc. was disappointing. The house had a lot of info about Capability Brown, other architects like Adams, birds and an archives room. This was all good but seemed to be accommodated at the expense of actual information about the house and family. There has been a lot of investment, however, and this was a good visit. Restaurant is good. P,entry of picnic areas. Staff helpful. Plenty of activities for children to do.

We had tickets for Al de Laura knight show and weren’t expecting too much but the exhibition itself was thoughtfully laid out with a very useful illustrated map to help understand her work in geographic context. Thought we’d nip into the gallery and museum (& the small but well serviced cafe on 1st floor) . What a surprise- helped explain much of the city’s industrial history (go Lea & Perrins!) including some industries we hadn’t thought of. There’s quite a big section about the various incarnations of Worcester regiments over the years (with slightly too realistic mannequins!) - not really an area of interest but so well curated that much of the info just soaked in!

There is a decent selection of things from local artists downstairs

What a fantastic afternoon. We had great fun learning some history about gin, enjoying the various gins and making our own to bring home. We thoroughly enjoyed the cheese board part way through and loved the well designed ambiance at Piston Gin. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic visit here today for all of the family. Volunteers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Would have been 5 stars but the for the prices in the cafe. My wife ordered 4 drinks (coffee/juice) and 4 ice creams and was charged £24. Was then told it was another 15p a cup to take them away! (To put in Paper cup rather than china) The pricing would put us off having anything from there in future.

Poked my nose inside whilst visiting a craft fair here, seeing as there were signs saying that some rooms were open to view. Had the place to myself. Astonishing ceilings and – gosh, the actual city council chamber! Well worth taking a few minutes to look around this, and absolutely free. Not all rooms are available to enter though.
