Had a most enjoyable 5 night stay in Aberystwyth including a trip on the Vale of Rheidol Railway. The weather was surprisingly good, considering much of the UK was experiencing storm conditions, and our Premier Inn accommodation was top-notch. The trip on the Railway was excellent and our walk round the falls at Devil's Bridge was exhilarating! A walk round the Castle remains was really interesting as was a trip on the Cliff Railway and a walk along the cliff top. Finally, a visit to see red kites being fed was spectacular - we felt like we were extras in a remake of Hitchcock's The Birds! All in all, a great long weekend and we would definitely go back. PS. I would also heartily recommend Andy's Records shop - I could have spent hours there.

I went here because weather was wet, didn't want to walk much but when go to the too, the views are spectacular of beach, and the town. We seen there was another way down from the Cliff Railway. So we decided on walking down right side to looks like there was a caravan park something like that like stayed at before. We mainly walked down there to go to the beach. We paid for return why walked to other side as would of walked to Aberystwyth town. But because paid for return walked other way the views were spectacular there's Bowling Alley, two cafes on on its own other in bowling alley. The walk to the other beach there was Arcades, cafes, and shops.

Richard met us from our holiday cottage and we spent a wonderful afternoon touring around the Cambrian mountains. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and the time went by so quickly. He took us to places that we would not have been aware of or even able to get to in our small vehicle. We would definitely book another tour on a return visit to Wales

The tour was perfect, the tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable of the surrounding with some access to some areas. Me, my wife and kids had a great time.

Awesome ride out, some incredible places that I would have never found on my own. Great pace of riding with a whole spectrum of riding surfaces. All in all, totally epic!

I was concerned about my fitness and the hills of West Wales. As my partner had a bike already I hired a bike from Crys Melin (yellow jersey I'm told). Scott the owner recommended an E-bike. Wow, thank you Scott my partner couldn't keep up with me on his superbike.
Scott was so helpful, he had a range of bikes and delivered it to me. The Trek bike I hired came with a pannier that contained all the safety equipment need to repair a puncture and a helmet. The bike had a motor that had 3 modes and Scott assured me it would get me up any hill and go for 60 miles. The bike he told me was capable of road biking and even some rough gravel surfaces. He gave us a thorough rundown of how the bike operated and also gave us a map of some OS printed routes that he and locals do themselves.
We opted for a 30-mile route around Nant Y Moch, a reservoir that supplies a hydroelectric power station and we were so glad we did. Such a beautiful ride with amazing views with lunch at the red kite centre. The route was a lot more remote than expected but that made it more enjoyable. Scott had given us the security of his contact number and said if there were any issues at all just to call him and we would have someone there to help us. The homemade Welshcakes he put in the pannier for us was an extra bonus when we stopped to admire the dam.
A great experience made all the more enjoyable by a great team that Crys Melin is.. Bikes were delivered and collected by Scott and we even met his lovely family. They are a small local business that I would highly recommend and use again.

    Thank you
    .

We massively enjoyed our command task/ paintball activities followed by blind ball games and finished off with 3 holes of footgolf. Colin, Christian and family were brilliant and the lunch was delicious. Worth a trip off the main drag to find this picturesque quiet gem. Thanks

Sorry for taking so long to post a review

My wife bought me a paddle boarding session with Mike in early September.

It turned out to be a windy day but I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon with Mike on the Dovey estuary. It was my first time paddle boarding and I'm hooked and will definitely call on him again.

Mike was easy going, incredibly knowledgeable and great fun. We're regular visitors to Wales and will definitely look him up again to arrange our outdoor activities.

Many thanks and see you again

Amazing first time experience for myself and my 2 boys. We were welcomed by friendly Jack. He explained all we needed to know and was with us throughout which was reassuring as my youngest jumped into the deep ocean and Jack supported my son back into the kayak safely. The weather was superb and really hot on land so being out at sea was a real treat for a lover of water! Would recommend this activity to anyone!
    Thank you Jack!🌊😁👌🏽🛶
