- Bexyjb13 contributionsWe parked near the three cliffs bay coffee shop and walked down the coastal path towards three cliffs bay. There are lots of paths going off the main foot path and the views are amazing. It was quiet an emotional experience as we live in such a beautiful part of the world.Written March 4, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Vanessa B1 contributionExcellent time enjoyed by all the family.
Welcoming staff and very friendly service. The play area was used by the younger children and they had a really fun time. Definitely worth a visit and will be returning very soon.Written February 27, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Tesney W2 contributionsWe were a little confused as to why the beach was empty at the height of summer holidays. Such a beautiful beach. Cheap hotel in town centre that was a 10min walk from beach. Mumbles is 20 min drive away and the stunning Gower beaches 30 mins. Oakwood is only 45 muns away with after dark colour festival and fireworks on weds and Sat. Swansea city is a little neglected. A lot of closed businesses including bed and breakfast which was sad to see. Book your stay and support this beautiful area. The swimming was great fun with all the slides and wave machine.Written September 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - heath922Llandysul, UK247 contributionsThe castle is well kept and striking from the outside with information boards. Staff were friendly and knowledgable and a film was playing to give a brief history of the place. We then walked around on our own, the glass floor in the chapel area was interesting but I am not great with heights! Views from the battlements over Mumbles and Swansea Bay make it well worth the climb to the top. We also enjoyed the smaller passages and celler areas, they are well lit too.Written October 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mary T2 contributionsI have visited the Gower many times to camp and enjoyed the fabulous beaches but fancied somewhere a little different to walk the dogs. I discovered Clyne Gardens and was so glad I did. What a gem! A gorgeous walk in well kept gardens and the dogs could run free in beautiful surroundings. Free entry with free parking by The Woodman pub. Amazing!Written February 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Debbie JWeymouth, UK79 contributionsBeautiful dog friendly beach! Amazing walk and scenery and a lovely breakfast nap at Eddy’s. We thought the parking charge of £5 was a bit naughty, should be £3 this time of year.Written September 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joss RWilloughby, UK96 contributionsStunning sweeping sandy beach. We walked for miles!! Has everything from local produce including fresh cockles and laverbread, Gower grown vegetables, clothing, jewellery and fit electrical store. Lots to eat in here or just have s as cuppa with a snack. Full of character and it’s very big. We loved it and there was even a small seating venue area with a local entertainer for the children.Written September 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard H1 contributionOur second stay at the Dylan Thomas Birthplace House and hopefully many more to come.
Beautifully restored, curated and kept,it's a joy to be there and the sense of Dylan and the Thomas family is strong. It's as though they have gone away for a few days and asked you to house-sit.
Probably my favourite place in the world. I love it.Written March 11, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nothing of the sort. Open after a couple of days and everything clear by the weekend. Very impressed with how well they maintain this place.Written December 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
