- Jack_Harpur_Dublin, Ireland58 contributionsA brilliant bar in the middle of Derry with a great pint of Guinness anyone visiting Derry should make there list for somewhere to stop in.Written September 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ruairi W2 contributionsFrank Owens in Limavady and Busbar, Banbridge - two best pints of Guinness in the North. Have left Limavady 30 years now, and still welcomed by name by Damien everytime I call in. What a pub should be, sadly this is a bar of which few are left. Owens Bar is top class.Written August 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- bmcbikesNewtownards, UK12 contributionsThis is a family run site with a nice pub. The owner is so welcoming and friendly. It’s a great site for campervans, caravans, micro campers and tents and it has great facilities. It is close to the OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory located in Davagh forest. It has become my favourite escape as I can be there in less than an hour. When I leave I am counting down the days till I can get back.Written September 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JoCa42Dungiven, UK41 contributionsWe visited this pub/restaurant today and were greeted by Zoe with the lovely smile. The fire was burning bright which created a cosy atmosphere. We had our lunch which consisted of a veg stirfry and a warm chicken & chorizo salad, both of these dishes were plentiful and full of flavour. We really enjoyed our delicious meal and the service was first class. We will be back to the Ritz bar/restaurant soon to try more enticing menu items.Written September 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My wife went for the fish which was a very good choice while I wasn't particulary hungry and decided on the chicken goujons of which there were plenty, nicely presented and very tasty.
At this time of year chips are hit and miss but in the Old Point they always manage to produce high quality chips which are crispy, hot and greaseless.
Sauces and garnishes were clearly freshly prepared and added to the meal. Service was first-class served in a restaurant which has been recently been redecorated and spotlessly clean.
The place was busy and there was plenty of conversation to be had with other diners.
In all, a very pleasant evening out, well fed with good food and wasn't charged a ransom.Written June 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
