Centrepiece of the town, this classical church was designed by Robert Mylne in 1792 to house two congregations, English and Gaelic, each had its own entrance under its own portico. This large double church occupies the centre of Church Square, on the central axis of Main Street. The church has a rectangular plan measuring 28.3 m by 18.5 m. Congregations are divided by a wall 0.65m thick .The Gaelic church was extensively altered in 1913 , and in 1957 was converted to a church hall. A really interesting place that is hard to miss while walking along the streets of Inveraray.
