This tour was the Highlight of my trip to Edinburgh and it wont be forgotten anytime soon! Brian Smith was such an excellent tour guide, he was always up beat and had such fun, interesting and some creepy stories.
He would be telling all kinds of different stories in regards to certain history in scottland depending on what spot we visited at the time.

In between each story he told he would play his very great taste in music (mostly scottish😂) you could tell he had the whole coaches attention when he had us screaming at the top of our lungs 'Im Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers.

He really just made the whole day fun. Thank you Brian! 😊

If you think about doing this trip i honestly couldnt recommend it more.

It was a wonderful day seeing so much of Scotland. The views are breathtaking even in slightly grey murky conditions. Our driver Al was a real delight, knowledgeable, interesting and very funny. Stops were regular and there was plenty of time at Loch Ness to eat and then enjoy the trip on the boat. The day is long but very very enjoyable as we would never have done so much in twelve hours in our car. Being a smaller bus was a lot easier than a normal fifty seater as you could engage with other travellers and the driver. Have to give it 5 out of 5

Absolutely fantastic. We learned a lot of history and saw some great places that were more aimed at locals but the food was phenomenal and the guide really knew how to make it special. Afterward we really felt like we had had a full meal.

The driver (ian) is one of the nicest people we've ever met, and he has more than enough knowledge and skill to lead a tour!
He taught so much Scottish history and culture in an interesting and memorable manner, full of nice jokes that kept everyone in attention.

I would recommend taking the boat ride at Loch Ness

Our group was composed of German, French, Greek, Spanish and British people and this review is based on comments made in different languages. From David, we learnt the Scots word dreich which was very appropriate for a wet and misty Edinburgh day lit up by a fascinating and detailed insight into the city’s history and architecture. David’s tour was delivered with passion and humour and was a thoroughly informative and entertaining introduction to the city. We particularly appreciated learning about Scotland’s strong historical connection with the rest of Europe and its contribution to the enlightenment.
    Highly recommended.

Wallace was our tour guide and did a great job with information, music and local stories. It was a good mix of places to see, plenty of time for toilets, snacks, coffee/tea, etc. Highly recommend!

Dr. Knox was so fun! He was engaging and funny and worked hard to insure that everyone was included and having a great time. We learned some crazy cool facts about the city. Would definitely recommend.

We met Alasdair on a damp morning and he seemed genuinely glad to see our group. After a warm welcome we set off and were guided around old Edinburgh. Alasdair was very informative full of stories and readily answered all questions put to him. It was a great mix of history and fun and gorey facts. We had a great couple of hours and would highly recommend Alasdair and Sandemans for another great walking tour.

Fantastic tour with Dave as a guide: the historical sites, scenery, and recommendations were spot on. Excellent three days of travel on a comfortable bus with two nights nearby accommodations on Skye. Highly recommend.

Great service - really safe driver.
Special mention to ground staff - agents at St Andrew's Square Edinburgh.
Praise isn't always mentioned about cheerful, helpful prople in orange jackets but we met Ilaria and she was a great ambassador for Edinburgh and this wonderful bus tour company.

Guide was great and very informative with great knowledge. We did think we would be taken into buildings within the castle, but it was purely an outdoor tour

I think this was my fave place when touring the West Coast of Scotland.
Mind blowing views of Loch Shiel where we sat on a bench for an hour soaking up the scenery.
Five minute hike up a steep path to get an even better view of the Loch as well as the Viaduct.
We went during the Easter holidays so it was busy but it would be busier during the summer months, especially for Harry Potter fans.
Plenty of parking but get there early.
Great shop and coffee hut, all manned by lovely, hardworking staff.
