Ben (Benjamin) was amazing! He was very informative, giving history about Scotland and its origins. When there's places that had history, he explained it ahead of time. He was also playing scottish song while driving to match the vibe while we were enjoying the view. He has good humor too! Great driver and tour guide đź‘Ś! Very respecful and he give us time as much as possible to enjoy the tour.
If it wasn't for Benjamin, I'll give it a 3star. As a Quality and Customer Service personnel I would say, it is important that operator is organised in terms of prior, during, and after service. The bus was delayed, call time is 7:30 am and it arrived 7:55am - no advice from the tour operator aside from the other driver who told us that Benjamin is stuck in traffic and will arrive in 2 min that turned in 25min considering we were there 15 min before call time so basically we were waiting for more than 30min. The weather is -3°C and uncovered area. Second concern, it is the operator responsibility to mention in their website that the travel may cause motion sickness due to curvy roads so tourists can prepare in advance. Yes it is supposed to be expected but it wouldn't hurt anyone if the information is avaliable so there will be no complaints coz you've done your part. There were 3 people and 1 that I am aware of puking inside the bus. It could have been prevented if she was able to take the meds prior. Also, it made the trip unpleasant inside the bus for me since I can smell the puke. (Just giving this honest review for area of improvement).
The bus has comfortable seat, there is plug in outlets for your chargers since you will spend most of your time in bus. No cup holder. The seat can be reclined.
The view was of course amazing! The weather was perfect! It was a sunny Friday 🌞 although it's still freezing cold. The tour guide/driver - Benjamin was excellent!
Whisky ice cream, as well as fish&chips, is a must try đź’Ż
