What travellers are saying
- Laura B3 contributionsThe location of the distillery is just beautiful. Our guide, David, was friendly, chatty and informed. When you consider the price of a dram in a pub, the entry cost of £19 is actually really good. It includes 3 drams and a Blair Atholl glass to take away, plus 10% discount in the gift shop. It also helps that it's about 15 min walk from Pitlochry station, so easy to ditch the car! Would recommend.Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marion LParis, France10 contributionsJust love this view, even when overcast! Don't pass it by if you are in the area. Cafe unfortunately was closed but didn't diminish from our visit.Written March 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jake C3 contributionsVery interesting castle with lots of history (and weapons!). The grounds are beautiful and worth the admission even if you don't pay for the castle too. We were lucky with the weather and were able to spend most of our afternoon exploring the grounds. I found the cafe a little expensive for what it was but I suppose that's to be expected in this kind of place. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.Written January 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - epembertonNorth Yorkshire, UK214 contributionsWhat a fab little hill. Free parking near the path at the bottom, navigation straight forward and a manageable incline right up to the final climb. There’s even the odd bench here and there!
A great starter hill for those looking to dip their toe into hill walking, but do remember to take suitable equipment.Written October 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Plenty of car parking spaces and a separate area for those that are disabled. Toilets are available and were in good working order. Well maintained. Hand a nice walk around the pond area. Saw some Ducks and two Herons. Which was great to see. It's a great location just off the main road. Will definitely come back again. And would definitely recommend it.Written February 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
