Amazing, insightful tour, led by David. Showcasing his passion and knowledge of the Gaol and Irish history. A great experience, so glad we got the very scarce tickets.

The last time I was here was 15 years ago and they stepped up their game! It was so cool to see how immersive they made the tour. I was a little worried that it was going to be like it was before where you have a guide lead you around but I loved that it was self paced and interactive. Great job!

Emma was a gas girl. Lousy Massachusetts accent. Picks on Dubliners too much. However has the north siders pegged - a southsider.

I did the Black Barrell blending class, led by Josh. I actually didn't mean to sign up for it. I thought I was just signing up for the regular tour and history and a couple of shots at the end. But my mistake turned out to be a great thing. Our group got an excellent introduction into the history of Jameson's and then a unique tasting class where we had the opportunity to create our own whiskey from the various elements that go into making the Black Barrell product. It was fun, tasty, and a great learning experience.

It was my 3rd time in Dublin but only this time I had a chance to visit Trinity and its magnificent library. Now I know that I'd missed something absolutely precious on my previous visits... The Book of Kells Experience is simply magnificent! The library, the exhibiton about the book and the book itself, of course! Definitly NOT TO MISS when you're in Dublin.

Amazing tour! Amazing tour guide: Alan! We did not want the tour to end and stories to stop being told. Alan was mixing personal stories, anecdotes and facts about the bands and musicians in a spellbinding way. When it was over you were left feeling all emotions: happy, inspired, melancholy and hungry for even more. Recommending this tour to anyone, whether you’re already a music fan or not (you’ll become one)

The kids did the Beware of Dracula. Halloween family tour. It was brilliant and very entertaining. The actor who played Bram Stoker was excellent and a fantastic story teller. He even kept my 6 year fully engaged for the whole tour.

Though Oscar Wilde never attended Trinity College Dublin, the university stands as a monumental cultural and intellectual symbol of his era. As one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Trinity connects us to the vibrant literary and artistic spirit that shaped Wilde’s world.

    A Timeless Cultural Beacon
Founded in 1592, Trinity College Dublin is an enduring symbol of Ireland’s rich academic and cultural traditions. Its Long Room Library is a breathtaking space that houses thousands of historic volumes, many of which date back to the 19th century—the time of Wilde’s life and works. Stepping into this vaulted hall feels like walking into the past, where the whispers of Ireland’s greatest minds echo among the shelves. 📜✨

At the heart of Trinity’s treasures lies the Book of Kells, a masterpiece of medieval artistry and an emblem of Ireland’s deep cultural roots. Viewing this illuminated manuscript offers insight into the artistic and historical influences that inspired generations of Irish writers, including Wilde, whose wit and intellect were deeply rooted in Ireland’s cultural legacy. 📖🎨

    Delve Into Wilde’s Literary World
A visit to Trinity College isn’t complete without pausing to reflect on its role as a hub for Dublin’s literary scene. Although Wilde’s brilliance was honed elsewhere, Trinity provides an invaluable backdrop for understanding the literary currents of his time. For a deeper connection, consider attending a “Wilde and Dublin Literature” themed lecture, exploring his creative genius within the broader context of 19th-century literary movements. 🎙️🌍

    Why Visit Trinity College Dublin?
Trinity College Dublin is more than a university; it’s a living testament to Ireland’s literary soul. Whether you’re admiring the grandeur of the Long Room, marveling at the artistry of the Book of Kells, or exploring connections to Wilde’s Dublin, the experience is a feast for the mind and spirit. 🏛️🌟

This is one of the most compelling and engaging tours I've ever done. I could have listened to our guide, Shane, tell us stories about all the fascinating historical figures buried here for another two hours. Highly recommended!
