Blists Hill Victorian Town Ironbridge

All 10 museums offer a rich history & a fascinating insight into engineering development, as well as many other aspects of trades in the midlands, such as the potteries, clay mining and other types of mines.
We really loved this place so much that we got an annual pass which enables you to visit all of the iron bridge museums but we spent the whole day in this Victorian town as there was just so much to do and see.

We enjoyed the Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron - it's more friendly and interesting than some of the other Ironbridge museums.

Having a deep interest in aviation, and especially military aviation, museums like this are heaven for me, and I have visited quite few around the world.
Made my first visit to Cosford and I must say it is one of the best aviation museums I've visited anywhere in the world.

Like the other industrial museums across the gorge, you were aware how tough life was for the workers in the factory.
Fantastic little museum bringing to life the pipe works and its history.
