Superior cocktails, super friendly staff, great atmosphere. My wife and I were randomly nearby looking for a drink when we stumbled across this place. So glad we did, a cocktail I will never forget. They put extreme care and effort into making their cocktails, true cocktail craftsmanship.

We loved loved loved this place. The charcuterie is amazing and the wine was even better. We really enjoyed talking with Lelio and learning about the bottles they carry. Can't wait to go back.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience with great people, amazing wine and amazing conversations then stop by L'Etiquette. Whenever we are in Paris we make it a priority to stop by L'Etiquette and enjoy a bottle or two with the owner, Herve. The shop has a wide selection of French natural wine and the owner is a wonderful guide through the world of natural wine. On our last visit we enjoyed many bottles of wine and wonderful conversation with the owner and his lovely wife that lasted many hours. It’s easy to lose yourself in such an amazing place and I hope that others will come to appreciate this Parisian institution. Do yourself a favor and stop by L'Etiquette for a great bottle of wine and so much more!

Pay to load a charge card, then use it to sample any of their wines at this serve yourself wine bar. A cool idea for something different to try. Pretty sure all the wines were overpriced, but you can sample wines that you wouldn't pay for an entire bottle for without knowing you really liked it. Some glass samples were almost $20 euros, but there was a wide selection of cheaper ones as well.

Big line even in the cold weather, so do the tour and bypass the line. It's great having someone explain what you are seeing and it being the truth.

Fantastic wine at a reasonable price. Nikola was great in explaining the wines on offer. He was also comfortable to chat with us. I wish we had stumbled on this earlier- if I am back in Paris, I will definitely seek it out again.

We stopped by to buy a bottle of champagne for a meeting with colleagues. It was early (5 PM )so the only people there were the owner and a friend; they were enjoying a glass of wine and a plate of charcuterie before the evening rush. My colleague ended up getting into a long and fascinating conversation about wine with the owner; he talked us into buying a bottle of natural sparkling wine instead, which turned out to be delicious and far less expensive. His good cheer and great advice made our evening! Next time I'm in Paris I will definitely return and stay to eat and drink with the locals.

What more can I say? This place is great. We had the foie gras and a cheese platter and they were both delicious. The wine was very nice and the staff were definitely the highlight. It didn’t feel like too much of a touristy place, it was authentic and the staff spoke good English. Would love to go back to this little gem.

Super cute, super charming, and super helpful. Super, all around :)
We needed some wine to go with our dinner at home and we stopped by to get some ideas. It is not easy picking a wine that goes with attike, kedjenou, sauce d'arachide au poulet, and couscous au sept legumes, but the lovely staff helped us with picking the right wines. The Sancerre paired well with the sauce arachide, while the red Bordeaux paired very well with the couscous.

Definitely recommended if you need a good wine pairing to go with all the culinary delights Paris has to offer.

Just like Hemingway and James Joyce we had an apartment in the Latin quarter just around the corner from the Teddy bar. Love this little dive bar, the young lady and her husband run it and are really friendly. They have a good selection of beers and mixed drinks. We always seemed to end up here late at night, even though they have a very comfortable booth, we loved to sit are the small bar and exchange pleasantries with the bartender.

TIP: Ask what is new on tap as there are so many new craft beers around.

They certainly know whisky - but they are not customer focused. After years of purchasing at LMdW, I'm done. No one NEEDS expensive whisky. LMdW would do well to remember that those who WANT expensive whisky can find it elsewhere.

During a recent purchase, I urgently needed to use the restroom and asked to do so while my purchase was being gift wrapped. The salesman informed me that they did not have one. Having patronized the store for years, and having attended tasting sessions on the premises, I responded that I knew very well that there was a restrooms -- only to be told that it was now reserved uniquely for the staff.

I left immediately without concluding my purchase. After resolving my immediate problem, I found two excellent bottles not 100 meters from LMdW…and was happy to spend my money elsewhere.
