I was in Paris and randomly discovered that this exhibition was being shown in the same place where I had previously seen the one on Tutankhamun.
I promptly reserved a very expensive and basic ticket of €24 for a time slot of 12.30 for the following day.
As other reviewers have mentioned, it was very poorly organised and I waited outside for over 45 minutes with plenty of other people queuing to get in.
Once inside the building there was another wait before entering the actual exhibition and it just became queue after queue.
Unfortunately it only got worse, as it was so exceptionally busy that one had to queue up to view the items on display. I have never, ever experienced anything like this before in a paid exhibition and it was very frustrating having to queue throughout the entire time I was there.
There were some incredible pieces on display but not everything directly related to Ramses.
The exhibition itself was fantastic but the organisation part was extremely poor.
It seemed to be all about making money and getting as many people in as possible, rather than allowing people to actually enjoy the exhibition.
