- Ben C89 contributionsIf you are visiting Paris you have to go see this show. It is absolutely amazing and beautiful. We’d booked the VIP tickets which gave us a queue jump straight into the venue to a reserved table where we were served champagne. As part of the package we got a nice goodie bag. When our table was ready we were personally shown to our table where there was a fresh bottle of champagne waiting. You will also get Evian mineral water and soft drinks included with this package. We had good seats at the top. Service was brilliant. You’re not allowed to take pictures or videos. Truly an amazing performance. We watched the 11:30pm show which finished at 1pm.
I would say when you leave the venue after the show and in need of a taxi, be warned all the taxi drivers which have their green lights on will rip you off. To give you an idea we paid €29 on the way to the venue which was a 30 minute drive on Uber. The taxi outside the venue charged us €80 for the same journey back. All the taxi drivers work together and they all keep together so don’t try and play them off. What I would suggest is all the bars are open to 2am, walk down the road to a bar away from the venue and have a drink to kill time then call a Uber and it will be a lot cheaper. Seriously stay away from the local taxi drivers which have their green lights on it’s all dodgy and cash only. The entire cast was amazing. Would love to know the name of the song sung in french in the pre-show as I really enjoyed the tempo and the way it was presented. Dinner was really nice. Though you can be completely distracted with the beautiful dancers, if you observe closely, the lighting and effects and the stage equipment all work seamlessly to create an exceptional show. I was so glad to see they served Moet champagne as opposed to some other type. And the little bites were a nice touch as well. The girls were all very beautiful, sexy, in fantastic shape and performed very well individually and as a group. The skits were creative, if anything negative we prefer the more upbeat skits vs the slower ones. The drinks as other reviews noted as expensive, but i am not surprised by it. The entry and exit was organized so no waiting. The concert was of Classical Music, mainly violins, with two other string instruments to highlight the beautiful music. I closed my eyes to listen and felt the beauty of the music within my entire body. Interesting to watch the models on the runway - the mom in me wanted to tell them all to stand up straight! But I guess this is the way of high fashion now. The clothes were indeed beautiful, and it was a very enjoyable afternoon, something most tourists are unaware of. The lighting and effects were impressive and scattered throughout the area allowing you to check out other areas. A good show and different way to enjoy such a beautiful place. - nuttynutsterManchester, UK34 contributionsParis was all we expected and more, the trip was a delayed Birthday treat for our daughter, who planned the trip wonderfully. we got to see the main tourist attractions without it all being a rush (The Arch De Triumph in the evening was fabulous) I would highly recommend having a plan and A rough idea of what you want to do and when, certain museums are closed on Mon or Tue we would also recommend booking timed tickets online in advance as they only sell so many. Every first Sunday of the month they are free but you must book in advance to gain entry. And the Parisian people are not as bad as everyone makes out if you make the effort! Julie guides us through her hilarious and amazingly accurate observations of how the "real" Parisians, the "fake" Parisians, and the misguided but happy tourists view and navigate this wonderful city called Paris! My husband was such a good sport when she drew him into part of her act which had me in absolute stitches 🤣!! But it is not advertised as HD quality so cannot mark it down for that. It gives an experience of the great potential of virtual reality. The staff were very professional and friendly.
