- travel*junkie3Illinois12 contributionsThis was our second time taking this tour with Victor. He is one of the best tour guides we have enjoyed in our many years of traveling to France and Paris. Victor is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. Victor provides very clear directions prior to the trip and what to expect. The total mileage for the day was right around 8 miles with some mild hills and a very enjoyable pace and was exactly what was described in the description.
Victor's knowledge of art, the area, and his ability to communicate clearly made for a very relaxing and fact filled day. Victor makes the day even more fun with sprinkled trivia questions at each stop. If I could give Victor a higher rating, I would. The tour was given in English.
Although the weather forecast looked very favorable the day prior, we did have a little rain but nothing to stop the tour, We all came prepared for the "iffy" weather and a wonderful hike through a beautiful area with a tremendous art history. Camille was so good about sharing information with us at the pace that worked for our family. She made it so interesting and interactive for each one of us with ages between 6 and 65. The invaders 'hunt' was fun for us all week long. This was the perfect activity for us on our first night. It made the city feel accessible and friendly to our kids.
Camille even helped us find a great spot for dinner at the end of the tour. I was so appreciative that she grabbed one of my kids that stepped off the curb at an inopportune time. Highly recommend. Robin is not only a top notch expert in the subject matters but also is kind, attentive and fun! He was patient to listen to all my questions and interjections. We had a lovely time and it truley opened up a new window into this fascinating city. This tour is incredibly affordable too, as many of these tours are twice the price.
