Gorgeous monument! I didn't realize you could walk to the top. If you are able to, I would definitely make the climb up. The view of the city is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. It's not too bad of a climb, most people should be able to make it.

We approached from Ranelagh metro station so we had a nice walk through the park. Good welcome and the lockers were useful so we could enjoy the exhibits unencumbered. Good range of artworks and the temporary sporting exhibition was very good. We came for the impressionists and were not disappointed. Worth a visit, not necessarily one we would feel the need to visit twice

We arrived early around 8 am and there were minimal people hugging the front of the square, allowing us to take pictures freely. There will be scammers asking us to do the pinch pose and we declined and we did other poses to avoid "crediting" themselves for the idea and ask for tips.

Also, during the day of our visit, there was a marathon, so it was a busy place.

We like modern art and famous architecture. The Louis Vuitton Fondation exhibition was therefore the perfect place for a visit. We liked everything. The building. The park. The exhibition and the art. Really a great place.

A world-class stadium to visit - they start on the top of the gantry, a sweeping view of the upper-deck seats that shows the three main stands looking down on pitch. Then you get to head through the press room, trophy display, and through to the pitch-side view, the bench, and across the field to the middle section and onto the end. Good coverage and some past history of the club and culture.

We visited Paris and stayed with our friends who have three children 8,6 and 3. I have an 11 year old boy. All the children were catered for at the park as there was a good mix of rides. I would say if you have a child over 12 it would be too young - although the new Jurassic park VR experience was quite scary and very good!! Cafes are a little disappointing in terms of the variety of food they sell but the ice creams are excellent. Queues were very minimal- some rides you barely queue at all or even walk straight on. The park has a lovely calm feel. We had superb time and I would highly recommend it. We bought unlimited passes and were there 1030am until 430pm but if we hadn’t had the 3 year old we would have stayed a bit longer. Plenty to do!

Had an excellent experience at the Olympics on both main show courts and the outside courts. The seats were new and comfortable and the general organisation was good. We will be back for the French Open!

We were there to tour the permanent exhibition. Very impressive collection of modern artists who lived in Paris. Exceptionally simple to navigate in the collection -- very well-designed for moving about in the space, which is well-lit and roomy. If you're interest in modern painters like Delaunay, Matisse, Picasso, Utrillo, Braque and Dufy, excellent place to visit. Appreciated the curatorial emphasis upon superb female artists. Natalia Goncharova, Suzanne Valadon, Anni Albers and Maria Blanchard are well-represented here.

    PROS
    * The best location at the Trocadero Plaza opposite the best view of the Eiffel Tower
    * Impressive curved symmetric buildings
    * Housing, some of the less famous and less popular museums in Paris, such as the marine and the ethnology

    CONS
    * it is located at frantic and frenetic Trocadero Plaza, where there are tourists all day and all night, as well as hawkers and stalkers

    “ I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… from the outside when I was at Trocadero several times

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
    It was free

WOULD “I VISIT THIS PLACE” AGAIN?
Sure – when I visit Trocadero again, and maybe I would go inside

    ADVICE
At least look at and notice these buildings when you are there at Trocadero to admire the Eiffel Tower

We chose Porte Maillot Metro. Bad idea. That whole area is completely torn up for the new tramway extension in advance of ‘24 Olympics. Porte Dauphine much better with just a bit of detouring. We are inveterate walkers and were tired by end of day.

Parc’s famous formal rose garden was being carefully groomed for the rose expo this weekend, June 3-4. A nice selection of roses blooming there but nowhere near the height I had expected. The chateau itself closed off in the midst of a major remodel, the rest of the grounds as beautiful as ever. Peonies & irises especially.

And can you beat the price of entry? Almost free, but not quite! Modest numbers of guests present. Tourist hordes absent, perhaps because public transit doesn’t take you to the doorstep.

We only got to enjoy a small sliver of this park but it seems pleasant. It is amazing that such a big open and wooded space exists a short walk from the Eiffel Tower!

    PROS
    * Fantastic manicured gardens
    * Outstanding location opposite the Eiffel Tower

    CONS
    * Currently restricted access due to Olympic construction

    “I VISITED THIS PLACE”…
… in order to experience it and to see the Eiffel Tower. As stated, there is construction so access is poor if it all.

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
    Free is a good price

WOULD “I VISIT THIS PLACE” AGAIN?
Sure, but not until I have the Olympics

    ADVICE
    * This is surely a wonderful and scenic place to visit…… after the Olympics.

The 16th arrondisement is a luxurious residential area with gorgeous houses adorned with elegant wrought iron balconies… the iconic image of Paris…

The gem of this beautiful and non-touristy area is the Musée Marmottan Monet, home to the collection of Claude Monet’s work as well as some of his contemporaries: Alfred Sisley, Edgar Degas, Berthe Morisot.

Opposite Musée Marmottan Monet is a lovely park, which is good for kids.

I had the most comfortable experience of massage with Noelia. She's very thoughtful and with great skills. I would love to be back again.
