A different level to other escape rooms we have done elsewhere both in terms of overall experience - Romain was absolutely brilliant - and the actual escape room - an actual metro carriage. Two adults and three children - it worked for us all. This is a fully immersive thriller experience that allows you to be a part of a well simulated crime scene investigation. The more engaged you are, the more you're going to love it. I did not speak French. Don't worry, English was an option and it did not make this experience less authentic. I recommend doing this when the sun goes down because it adds to the suspense. The entire experience was so real and so engaging. This is a MUST DO in Paris whether you are local or a tourist. Unforgettable. - Brian K1 contributionI ran this in October 2021, after two previous postponements with Covid. It was well worth the wait.
The route is just stunning. Think of almost any of Paris's many landmarks and the route goes past almost every one. From a start in a packed and pumped Champs Elysee, Le Louvre, Opera Garnier, Bastille, through Vincennes, back along the Seine and with the Eiffel Tower coming out from the sky at around 28k. You finish coming out of the Bois de Boulogne with the Arc de Triomphe in sight. They are testing this route for the Olympics in 2024 and that will be some spectacle.
I ran in glorious sunshine, and Paris like this is just sublime. If you get that, you will have the race of a lifetime. The course was well stocked with water and food stops, and cake in particular every 5k or so was a big winner.
The expo is out in Porte de Versailles, but was well organised and big enough. Only gripes are needing to get a doctor's certificate for it, issues with the website/app service. The medal is sadly a disaster: essentially just advertising the sponsor, trying to be kooky (I think(, has little to identify with Paris and is made as cheap and as flimsy as possible. A medal for a city like Paris shouldn't be hard to do well, but this one is the worst I have seen. I'd probably run it again just to get a proper one.
Nothing but good things to say about the city itself, other than try to stay a day or two after to properly enjoy it. And when booking hotels, there really isn't much difference in size and quality for a lot of them. Booking the location is key; ideally away from the main tourist spots where real Paris still exists. Even when our French friends told them to speak English they ignored. And no, we weren't being typical English speaking arrogant tourists, of which I know there are many.
Other than this, the event was well done and enjoyable. - kakarotGringo45 contributionsI've done dozens of escape rooms, and I really loved this one. Very immersive. Great live actors, and realistic props.
Note that the game starts from when you enter the building. The staff are in character from the beginning. (Don't expect to be offered tea and a bathroom beforehand.) This helps the escape feel more real.

- Tony K3 contributionsThe whole trip to Paris Disney was great. But as stated in my previous review the park needs to sort its pricing out urgently. To re cap- inside the theme park a hot dog is ten euros. Chips are six euros and a soft drink is 4 euros. We had ten family members. That’s a lot of money for a light lunch. They are a multi million pound industry and families pay a lot of money to visit.
