    So much beautiful art. Not as impressive a structure as the Louvre, but prefer this smaller museum full of impressionist art.

    Walking around Paris. It is a must that you should see even if you are visiting Paris for 2 days. A lot of tourist attractions in the area also.

    I recently spent an afternoon at Luxembourg Gardens, and it was a peaceful escape from the busy city. The beautiful flowerbeds, iconic green chairs, and stunning Medici Fountain made for a perfect spot to relax and people-watch. A must-visit for anyone looking to unwind in Paris!

    We loved exploring the Arc de Triomphe from different angles while walking along the Champ Elysees & the architecture was beautiful so we decided to purchase tickets to go to the top & I had read several reviews about the climb to the top being difficult, It is relatively easy . However it is not easy to locate the entrance so please ask for help and there is no place to keep your luggage or backpack , it is best to climb to the top close to view the sunset or afterwards because you can get a view of the surroundings and the lighting of the EIffel tower which happens an hour after sunset which is breathtaking !

    We visited the basilica late at night , despite the electric atmosphere outside where people were singing & dancing , it was so very peaceful inside and we enjoyed our time there & really did not want to leave , we also walked around & enjoyed the view of the lighting of the Eiffel tower from outside the Basilica . There are many cafe's in the area and we enjoyed having dessert in a small cafe 5-10 mins from the Basilica, we wished we had allocated more time to spend at Sacre cour , it is especially stunning at night !

    what a stunning place! Very central. Don't miss chagall's ceiling. Worth a stop. I wish there was a way to book online timed tickets to avoid the line outside.

    Montmartre is a historic and artistic district in Paris, known for its charming, narrow streets and vibrant atmosphere

    Located on a hill from where you will get stunning views of the city and is famous for the iconic Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur at its summit

    Reach Early moring or else be ready for huge crowd.

    We didnt visited inside due to heavy crowd, but it's a worth visit place when in Paris. It has been shot in many of the movies and Series, such as Emily in Paris :) and also movie Je Jawani hai Deewani :)

    PROS
    * Famous historical district in a central location
    * Old Jewish Quarter with a few still intact synagogues and a few kosher eateries and two kosher bakeries
    * Now notable for busy nightlife and liberal lifestyles
    * Some cultural stuff such as Centre Pompidou and Museum of the Shoah
    * Many restaurants bars and party venues

    CONS
    Busy crowded and noisy with party people at night

    "I VISITED THIS PLACE'...
    ... because I have stayed here before and liked it very much. I wanted to be close to some Jewish stuff, including food eateries, which I didn't do very much. As a matter of fact, I only ate at Chlew; the other places were too busy, uninteresting or not open- the bakeries are listed as opening at 0830H!!

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
    Yes

    WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
    Yes

    ADVICE
    A good place to visit but beware of the evening crowds, even on weekday nights

    What an incredible work of art! This chapel is breath-taking and awe-inspiring. You don't have to spend a ton of time here or take a guided tour to enjoy the sheer magnitude of this amazing chapel.

    Came here on the Paris Museum Pass after visiting the Orsay. It wasn't busy the day we came so we were able to enter well ahead of our reserved entry time. The place may be small; however, there are plenty of impressive works and you can probably see it all in an hour so it's definitely worth making the time to do so.

    PROS
    * Brilliant and famous ornate decorated structure
    * Elaborate fancy sculptures
    * Elaborate fancy lamp posts
    * Connects the Grand and Petit palais to the Invalides

    CONS
    * Busy traffic

    "I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
    ... as a return visit from October 2019. I visited because it is famous and has a history. I crossed from the Grand and Petit palais areas on my way to visit (again) the museum of Les Invalides (see my next review).

    I liked crossing, being on and observing, studying, analyzing and photographing 📷 the statues (see my "helpful" 👍 photos 📷, especially of foreign tourists with the bridge as the background.

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST
    Yes- it is free

    WOULD 'I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
    Probably, but not as a specific destination but as something that I'm passing anyway, between something and something else

    ADVICE
    * This is certainly worth seeing- walking on it, sailing underneath and looking from the sides of the river
    * It gives a good unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower, especially at night on the hour when it is twinkling- best to stand towards the end of the bridge, on the side that is closest to the Petit Palais ( full disclosure- I didn't stand there on this trip)

    We had a free morning, and so decided to visit this museum. No line to get in, and you are immediately released to the gardens. Virtually the very first piece you see in the gardens is the Thinker. As you wander your way through the garden, pieces appear along the way. The entire center of the garden was off-limits, which was disappointing. There is no mention of this when we were entering. It was especially sad as so many plants were in bloom, and the best we could do was look through a fence to see them.

    One section of the grounds was more forest than garden, and had quite a few pieces visible from one side to the other. We really enjoyed that area the most. We did go into the building itself, but it was hot, so we went back outside to enjoy the gardens.

    "Champs-Élysées is a bustling street known for its shops and cafes. We enjoyed window shopping and walking down towards the Arc de Triomphe. It can be quite crowded, but it’s part of the Paris experience. - Anna Thompson"

    Popped to the gardens to see the Olympic flame, but it seems to be ticketed unfortunately. Nice to see from a distance but the gardens themselves are a bit busy right now.
